Diablo 4 players call for game-changing ability to spice up “annoying” endgame
BlizzardDiablo 4 fans are still wondering about some essential features requested since the beta, such as an option to switch builds easily without resetting skills one at a time. Here’s what Diablo 4’s community had to say about it.
Diablo 4 fans have been pretty vocal lately, especially after everything that happened with Season of the Malignant. But between seasons, the community has focused on asking about an essential feature that could greatly improve the quality of life of the game: build slots.
After finishing the main campaign, players usually need to focus on specific class builds to survive the challenges of Diablo 4’s endgame. However, the community expressed that testing builds can be daunting, especially since swapping between skill trees demands players to refund each ability manually.
“Honestly, that’s the one thing I want. I want to try so many builds and have so much gear dedicated to other builds in my stash for my Druid. I just am not wasting my time respecing over and over again,” said Reddit user Most_Contact_311.
Other players joined the request on Diablo 4‘s official subreddit, and explained that even if they loved the game, not being able to switch easily between builds makes the endgame too repetitive: “So my 100 Druid is basically done, and I’m not playing anymore. I’d LOVE to try different builds with him – but it’s insanely annoying to do so,” explained another user called ShamrockAPD.
“I’d pay millions of Gold just to be able to buy build slots”
The Diablo 4 community insisted that having a feature like build slots or even a universal reset would greatly improve the game’s quality of life, and would even make the endgame more interesting for those who don’t want to create new characters after having to create one from scratch for every season.
Since there’s no option to swap between builds fast in Diablo 4, players pointed out that you need to manually delete paragon points and then reset the skill tree, one point at a time. “All I want is to be able to swap between builds without having to spend 30 minutes refunding every single skill & paragon point and equipping every piece of gear,” expressed Reddit user NeoViper101.
