Abattoir of Zir is live in Diablo 4 and players are getting used to all the new mechanics for exciting rewards in the Season 2 activity. However, many are unhappy with the leveling of the Tears of Blood glyph.

As the year is coming to an end, Diablo 4 Season 2 is heading toward its conclusion. The devs have lined up several new updates for the game and the new activity known as Abattoir of Zir has already begun in D4.

The main reward for completing one tier of the event is the Tears of Blood glyph which is considered the most powerful in the game. However, Diablo content creator Raxxanterax has revealed some news regarding the glyph and players are not happy at all.

Raxxanterax mentioned that it would take “325 solid giga blasting hours to take your glyph from level 1 to 50” after calculating that the entire XP pool is 6.5 million. He also said that even if the grind was “four times better,” it would take 80 hours of gameplay to reach level 50

Players were clearly unhappy with the amount of grinding required, with Reddit user ‘two-headed-boy” claiming that the “glyph exp balance is completely off” in Diablo 4. Glyph XP has always been a major point of discussion in the community as many felt that the XP gain was too slow in the game. Some even called it “a full-time job” considering how long it takes to reach level 50.

“Blizzard seems to be taking one step forward and two back when it comes to improving this game,” felt the OP. Others even went ahead and said that the game was “rushed” and of “low quality” after the calculation by Raxxanterax was revealed.

One of the players felt that the game was “f***ing pathetic” and said they were done after playing the new Abattoir of Zir activity in Diablo 4. They even called out the balancing and said that it was “pathetic” to witness.

Blizzard are yet to address this issue but players would like a fix sooner or later. You should also keep in mind that the entire calculation has been done by Raxxanterax and it involved several of his assumptions, so there might be certain differences with Blizzard’s official item stats.
