Diablo 4 players desperate for major Glyph leveling changes
BlizzardDiablo 4 players are quite unhappy with endgame progression, especially with Paragon Boards where Glyphs are slowing their leveling process to get to their favorite builds. Here’s what the Diablo 4 community has been talking about.
Diablo 4 Season 2 brought plenty of requested changes to its gameplay. Blizzard especially contemplated players’ requests for QoL features, such as reducing backtracking in Dungeons, but have fallen short with the essential mechanics of its iconic ARPG.
The Paragon Board is key for Diablo 4’s endgame since it’s the way players can spend skill points to perfect their favorite builds. However, leveling up its Glyphs has proven to be too slow for players, and they generally feel discouraged even after the latest update.
On a Reddit post called “Glyph levels too slow?,” a Diablo 4 fan pointed out that even after reaching level 100, they’ve only managed to get two of their seven Glyphs at level 15. “The time past level 100 it’s gonna take to level these things is crazy,” said Redditor Artemis_Bow_Prime.
However, other players don’t agree with the idea of Glyph leveling being too slow, since the latest update boosted the system, and also considered that it seemed that way because the only way to level up Glyphs is by completing Nightmare Dungeons.
“We level way faster than before while Glyphs only level a bit faster and previously the only thing folks did was run Nightmare Dungeons. Now folks are encouraged to do lots of content meaning less time in NMD and slower glyph level-ups,” said user Karltowns17.
Diablo 4 fans noted that players stopped focusing on farming Glyph XP since they want to complete seasonal content. “The obvious solution to me is to make other sources of Glyph XP available from other activities, and simultaneously boost the other rewards for completing NMDs to ensure they don’t feel worthless to do,” said Redditor Truedota2fan.
