Diablo 4 players love “meaningful” Season 4 changes
BlizzardThe Diablo 4 Season 4 PTR is currently underway and many players are happy with the changes that are set to come in the new season.
The Diablo 4 Season 4 PTR is finally live, and for the first time in the history of the game, players can try out the new features set to go live in the new season and provide feedback.
Ever since the PTR was released, players took to social media to share their opinions about the changes coming to the game.
In this regard, player ‘deidarac5’ stated on Reddit that they loved the changes, and that things in the game need to be valuable and have risks involved.
OP further elaborated on the changes that were noticed in the PTR. They mentioned that the Greater Affixes were rare and that getting a perfect build would take many hours.
They said that the new Helltide boss was strong, suggesting that the overall challenge element in Diablo 4 had increased. OP also added that the overall grind in the game was still present but they found it to be a meaningful one.
One Redditor agreed with what OP posted and said, “As long as you are able to make improvements at a fairly consistent rate, I think I’d call that a success.”
Another player added, “The best part of ARPG is feeling progression. Feeling, seeing, and planning your progression is what makes it fun and rewarding.”
A different Redditor stated, “The key is how much “fun” people have pressing the buttons themselves, interacting with the environments, attacking enemies, and overcoming challenges.”
The Diablo 4 subreddit has multiple threads where players have been appreciating all the changes that are set to come in Season 4, including the Helltide and the Nightmare Dungeon changes.
From everything that’s seen on social media, it’s safe to assume that players seem to be content with everything in the Diablo 4 Season 4 PTR for now.
However, the final product in Season 4 will depend largely upon the feedback that the community provides and how the developers implement that in the new season when it goes live.
While it’s unlikely that there will be a huge difference in Diablo 4 Season 4 than what’s currently being seen in the PTR, players should expect a few changes when the final product launches on May 14.
