Diablo 4 players have received some good news ahead of the Season 4 PTR as devs have promised to bring major changes to Uber Lilith, one of the hardest fights in the game.

Blizzard have introduced Diablo 4 Public Test Realm (PTR) in the upcoming Season 4, from April 2 to April 9, 2024, and players are quite intrigued to take part in it and test the new mechanics in the upcoming season, such as The Pit.

However, Uber Lilith, a boss that the entire community considers to be unfair and broken is also receiving some tweaks to make the fight easier, and fans can’t wait to have a go at the boss without getting immediately killed.

Adam Jackson, Lead Class Designer for Diablo 4, posted about this on his official X (formerly Twitter) feed as he said that Uber Lilith would be receiving several new updates such as improved hitboxes and removal of one-shot mechanics.

Uber Lilith has been regarded as one of the most unfair fights in the game as players were not fond of her attacks that would insta-kill any player that was caught up in the attack. As a result, very few wanderers managed to actually beat the boss.

Players were quite satisfied on both Reddit and Twitter alike, as one Reddit user said: “Bout time they fix the hitboxes and visual clarity. Hope this makes Uber Lilith an enjoyable fight,” while others pointed out how “visual clarity was one of the biggest issues” during the fight in Diablo 4.

“Man season 4 shaping up to be a banger if this makes the fight actually fun and not something that requires 1 shots to even have a chance,” added one player as they were quite hopeful after receiving this piece of news.

“Great changes. Beat her in season 1 and never attempted her again. Piss poor fight design. I’ll go as far as to say that she’s the worst AAA boss fight ever designed. Top to bottom trash, and objectively wrong design,” claimed another player as well.

Uber Lilith has not received much love from the fanbase since the release of the title due to her one-shot mechanics and animations. However, players are quite hopeful that Season 4 will turn out to be a good experience for them after these changes.
