Diablo 4 players praise simple Barbarian trick to evade AoE attacks easily
Blizzard EntertainmentWith the Uber bosses in Diablo 4 being a tough wall for many, one player has shared a simple method to negate incoming enemy AoE attacks for Barbarian mains.
Diablo 4 Season 3 is in full swing as the devs have also brought the Lunar Awakening event on February 6. With so much going on in Season of the Construct, many players have easily leveled up enough to take on endgame challenges.
Diablo 4 players have claimed since Season 2 that a few Barbarian builds like Hammer of the Ancients and Charged are parts of the meta now, and are extremely powerful. This has led many to use this as their character class in Season 3.
However, it gets even better for Barbarian mains as Reddit user ‘ODMtesseract’ shared that using Ground Stomp could “create an island of safety in the wave damage effect of a boss.”
The OP even shared footage of their gameplay using the mechanic as they easily evaded all of Fallen Temple Elias’s AoE attacks in Diablo 4. Players were mesmerized by the OP’s revelation as one of them claimed that this was “probably the best post” they saw on the subreddit.
With Blizzard including powerful endgame bosses, including Uber versions of campaign enemies, players might find this mechanic to be a great addition to their arsenal. With enemies like Malphas and Duriel heavily relying on AoE attacks, this technique can help take them down easily.
However, quite a few players were afraid that the devs might patch this as they said: “Dammit man blizzard devs scour this place for things to change why give them THIS.”
As of writing, this mechanic still works and has not been patched, nor has it been addressed by Blizzard in any form. However, it is still unclear if the devs consider this to be a bug or if it will remain in the game going forward.
