Diablo 4 players sick of repeatedly visiting Tree of Whispers call for simple change
Blizzard EntertainmentDiablo 4 players are growing tired of traveling to the Tree of Whispers, and they want a simple QoL change to fix it and save some time.
Diablo 4 Season 3 is in full swing, even though the update has not been received as ideally as the devs would have wanted by the fans. From the Vaults to the traps, Season 3 had to face backlash about every new addition until some patches tried to fix them up.
Now that most new issues have been fixed in Season of the Construct, players have diverted their attention toward other problems in the game, and one such issue has been brought forward in the community recently.
Reddit user ‘ognecrosexy’ posted calling for the devs to let players “stack Whispers beyond 10 Grim Favors.” They further explained their suggestion as they claimed: “I feel like I’m traveling to the Tree a fifth of the time I’m playing.”
For context, players need to collect 10 Whisper bounties before they can submit them to the Tree of Whispers to get rewards. However, with so many Dungeons and events to take part in, players are completing the objectives quicker than expected in Diablo 4.
“For real they’re so quick now I really hate teleporting to the tree. It kind of takes me out of the zone,” added a player as they were on the same page as the OP. Some even went ahead and said: “It’s f**ing BS annoying to keep going back to the tree every five minutes in the middle of a fight.”
Many suggested that another fix for this in Diablo 4 could be letting players choose their preferred hub so that they could teleport back to the tree as soon as they completed the objective. Others added that it “would be nice to let [Whispers] stack to 20 or 30 at least while afield.”
Blizzard are yet to address this issue explicitly, and it remains to be seen what measures they will take in future seasons.
