Diablo 4 Season 6: Release date & everything we know so far
Blizzard EntertainmentWhile Diablo 4’s upcoming expansion, Vessel of Hatred is grabbing all the headlines, the devs have added the speculation of Season 6 on top of that in recent interviews. Here’s everything you need to know about Diablo 4 Season 6, and when it will be released.
Diablo 4 devs are not stopping with Season 4’s massive overall success, as they have already teased a bunch of new info regarding their plans for the future. The biggest of them is of course the Vessel of Hatred DLC, but with a hint of Season 6 in it.
On that note, here’s everything we know about Diablo 4 Season 6 so far and when it will be released.
Diablo 4 Season 6 release date
Diablo 4 Season 6 is set to go live on October 8, 2024, at the same time as the Vessel of Hatred DLC. In an interview with Windows Central, Rod Fergusson, GM of Blizzard confirmed that “Season 6 is at the same time as the expansion.”
Alongside Season 6, Fergusson also made sure that players knew their plans for Season 5 as well. “We know what’s coming in Season 5 and we’re really excited about what that’s going to do,” Fergusson said. Talking about Season 6, he also said they have “cool ideas for that too.”
Expected Diablo 4 Season 6 theme
Season 6 of Diablo 4 is currently in its testing phase, as confirmed by Rod Fergusson, so as of writing, it doesn’t have an official name or theme. However, considering that it will drop at the same time as the Vessel of Hatred DLC, it’s highly likely that it will be based in Nahantu as well.
With Vessel of Hatred returning back to the famous Diablo 2 area, with Mephisto as the likely antagonist, Season 6 might just be expanding on the DLC’s story and providing more insight into the threat posed by the Prime Evil.
That was everything we know about Diablo 4 Season 6 as of writing. While you wait for the Vessel of Hatred DLC and the next seasons, make sure that you have the best Barbarian, Druid, and Necromancer builds to help you in your Season 4 endgame journey.
