Diablo 4: Who is Varshan the Consumed?

Diablo 4 Season 1 has prepared a new plague for Wanderers that dare to face the Season of the Malignant. Among a fresh batch of demonic creatures, Blizzard will present a brand-new World Boss: Varshan the Consumed.

Diablo 4 Season 1 has been taken over by a new plague, which has been spreading thanks to the ominous Malignant Monsters. And that’s not all: the Season of the Malignant has also introduced a new demon of epic proportions to be a part of the Word Bosses. This creature is called Varshan the Consumed, and it’s guaranteed that he’ll terrorize every Wanderer in Sanctuary.

If players want to prove themselves by facing him, they’ll have to finish the main campaign at least once. This way, you will be able to face the challenges of Season 1 and missions that are only available in the Diablo 4 endgame.

Diablo 4: Varshan the Consumed explained

Varshan the Consumed is the new World Boss introduced in Diablo 4 Season of the Malignant. These types of demons are huge creatures that spawn randomly on Sanctuary’s map. Since Season 1 challenges will be available for players who have already finished the main campaign, the game will notify them automatically when a World Boss event starts.

Blizzard developers have revealed that Varshan the Consumed will only be available for the duration of Season of the Malignant, and will drop powerful items when defeated. Players have speculated that it’s possible that the apparition of this World Boss could be the source of the Malignant plague and it could also be guilty of spreading it all over Sanctuary.
