Diablo 4’s Infernal Hordes are best thing to happen to the game according to players
Blizzard EntertainmentDiablo 4 Season 5 finally arrived on August 6 and players are already in love with the brand-new endgame activity called Infernal Hordes. From the monster density to the loot and rewards, almost every aspect of it has received praise.
Infernal Hordes is a new rogue-lite mode that tests your endgame build to the utmost. You’ll have to face waves of enemies that gradually increase in difficulty until you reach the Fell Council, a group of blasphemous priests ready to bombard you with powerful attacks.
Players are extremely happy with the new game mode as they took to Reddit to praise Season 5’s wave-like activity.
“Infernal Hordes is the best thing that [has] happened to Diablo 4,” claimed Reddit user ‘gorays21’ while stressing how the increased monster density is a “dream come true” for them. With multiple waves in every run, players don’t have to worry about low monster density anymore.
“Infernal Hordes are like the cooler older brother of Legion Events. They’re the most fun I’ve had in Diablo 4,” added another player.
If you are in World Tier 3 and above, the Infernal Hordes are by far the best way to get incredible rewards and high XP. Once you have upgraded your character, you can increase the difficulty tier after farming for the associated Infernal Compasses.
“They weren’t kidding when they said the hordes will swarm you hard,” said a player while others complimented its “crazy” loot and rewards. Many players have even made it their primary objective in the game until they get strong enough to fight against the Tormented Echoes and farm their loot tables.
You can start the “Eyes of the Enemy” quest to unlock this mode right after reaching World Tier 3 so it shouldn’t take much time if you play the game regularly. However, if you are looking to power level to level 50 for WT3 access using the famous S5 XP glitch, keep in mind that Blizzard have removed it already.
