Diablo 4’s Profane Mindcage is back in Season 5 and even more powerful
Blizzard EntertainmentProfane Mindcage has been one of the most popular seasonal items introduced in Diablo 4 Season 4, letting players power level through Helltides with ease, and it’s going to be permanent from Season 5 with a nice XP boost.
In Season 4, players flocked to Helltides as they were the easiest way to gain levels and earn some of the best loot in the game. Profane Mindcage simply raised the levels of monsters by 10 while increasing the Cinder drops, making it a fan-favorite.
On July 16, popular Diablo 4 streamer Rob2628 shared everything he knew about Season 5, confirming that Profane Mindcage will be added to the game permanently.
Alongside Rob2628, Diablo content creator DonTheCrown revealed even more news, stating that not only will Profane Mindcage return, but it will also stack three times.
Many players were excited, with one saying: “Glad to see they listened to us. Was hoping for a higher stack, but this is a good start.” Others also believed that it was “great news” for the community.
“D4 has really turned around from S1,” added another player while others were hopeful that stacking Profane Mindcages would exponentially increase the quality of rewards. Once players can push monsters to Level 100, they will start dropping 925 Item Power rewards, and even powerful Uniques.
However, this wasn’t all the content creators revealed, as the devs have many other changes planned for the upcoming update on August 6. From changes to Uniques to Barbarian nerfs, you can expect a lot of tweaks and new additions in the upcoming season.
