Diablo 4’s Uber Lilith is still bugged but there’s an easy workaround

Diablo 4 players have grown tired of a persistent Uber Lilith glitch, making her a frustrating challenge in Season 5. While this glitch has been around since Season 2, players have now shared a workaround to avoid getting trapped by the infinitely powerful boss.

No build is strong enough to survive when Lilith bugs out, even after her Season 4 rework. The glitch causes her to spam her skills endlessly while being invulnerable, turning the fight into a test of how long players can dodge her attacks before finally succumbing to frustration and restarting the fight.

However, players have figured out that Uber Lilith usually glitches when her health is depleted by half during her first phase or when players deal enough damage to skip her intermissions.

The workaround for this major issue is to carefully reduce her health by only a quarter to allow her to cycle through her intermissions, even if this ruins the charm of using an overpowered DPS build.

“Another way around it is to do so much damage that you kill her first phase before she teleports away after summoning that first wave of adds,” shared another player struggling with the fight.

Some Diablo 4 players insisted that the Uber Lilith fight was poorly designed, accusing Blizzard of attempting to make her the toughest fight by locking her in an endless loop that most players can’t handle without a “broken” build.

“I’m pretty sure they designed her to where the only way to beat her is with a cheese build anyway. You have to literally break the game to beat her and it’s hella disingenuous on their part,” commented a player in the Diablo 4 subreddit.

Blizzard explained that they want players to experiment with new builds to keep the Diablo 4 meta fresh, which is why they completely reworked Unique Items and Legendary Aspects in Season 5. To test these changes, they’ve also included Hellbreach Dungeons and the highly-praised Infernal Hordes.
