Disappointing Uber Lilith drops force Diablo 4 players to find alternatives

Diablo 4 players can face Uber Lilith to put their builds to the test after farming Uniques. However, the rewards for killing her are lackluster in Season 4 and fans feel they need more to justify the difficult task.

Diablo 4: Season of Loot Reborn was a game-changer for Sanctuary. The new itemization system answered most requests, and the change in drop rates for Uniques and materials made farming bosses a lot more enjoyable. Granted, that’s if we exclude Uber Lilith from the conversation.

Facing her is still one of the most difficult challenges in Diablo 4 since she’s known to one-shot even the sturdiest of builds. But after putting a lot of effort into finally killing her, there’s almost no loot to celebrate your victory.

Diablo 4 fans can’t get over the fact that Uber Lilith, the hardest version of the meanest demon in the game, doesn’t drown them in Legendaries. Players feel that her drops aren’t enough to really justify taking Lilith on, especially when there are other options available that provide better loot for less of a challenge.

“Just because it’s not ‘for’ that doesn’t mean she couldn’t at least drop more than two items. They could make her loot table similar to Duriel’s but without the increased chance for an Uber Unique. That would still be disappointing, but at least it would be better than this slap in the face,” said a fan.

You can only face Uber Lilith after defeating the demon during the main campaign.

Other players think that defeating Uber Lilith is reward enough and that her sole purpose is to act as a benchmark for your skill. They also feel that if she offered better rewards, players would be forced to farm her and repeat one of the longest fights in the game.

“You kill Lilith for fame and glory (and personal achievement). Not for loot,” described a fan. That same player revealed that there are better options out there for farming loot: “Just run Helltide’s boss over and over. You’ll drown in legendaries.”

Another player backed up the claims that defeating Uber Lilith just isn’t worth it and that there are better ways to spend time farming in Season 4: “Helltide for gear, NMD for XP and Glyphs, Whispers for Gold, Ubers for Uniques, Pit for masterwork Mats, World Bosses for their mats.”

While most players can’t believe that the toughest boss in the game doesn’t drop more loot, Blizzard amped up the chances of getting more XP, Manuals, and materials during Diablo 4 Season 4.
