Where to find Andariel in Diablo 4
To find Andariel in Diablo 4 Season 4, you need to make your way to the Hanged Man’s Hall Lair in the Kehjistan region.
Just like the other endgame bosses, you will have to clear monsters before you can reach Andariel’s altar in the Dungeon. Once you’re there, you need to place the summoning materials to summon the boss.
How to summon Andariel in Diablo 4
Here is the list of materials that you need to summon Andariel in Diablo 4:
- Sandscorched Shackles (2)
- Pincushioned Dolls (2)
Where to find Sandscorched Shackles
To find Sandscorched Shackles in Diablo 4, you need to summon and defeat Lord Zir in The Darkened Way Dungeon.
Each time you defeat Lord Zir, you’ll receive one Sandscorched Shackle, so to get the required materials, you’ll have to complete the encounter twice.
Where to find Pincushioned Dolls
To get Pincushioned Dolls in Diablo 4, you need to make your way to the Gaping Crevasse Dungeon and then defeat the Beast in Ice.
Just like Lord Zir, you’ll have to defeat the Beast in Ice twice to get your required materials for one Andariel run in Diablo 4 Season 4.
It’s worth noting that you’ll receive these items as drops in World Tier 4 only. While you’ll be able to face The Beast in Ice and Lord Zir in World Tier 3 as well, you won’t receive the materials required to summon Andariel in this World Tier.
Preparation for Uber Andariel boss fight in Diablo 4
As Uber Andariel is a World Tier 4 endgame boss in Diablo 4 Season 4, it’s needless to say that you must be Level 100 to have a good shot at it. Farming the mats can be quite tedious, so having a group or a clan is always the best way to approach this fight.
For gear, it’s recommended that you balance both Attack and Armor during this fight, as well as make sure your resistances are boosted. Andariel loves to spam her poison novas, so don’t forget to pack some Elixirs and boost your poison resistance before heading into the fight as well.
How to defeat Echo of Andariel in Diablo 4 Season 4
The most important strategy to defeat Echo of Andariel in Diablo 4 is to stay away from her AoE attacks at all costs and deal constant damage by using your AoE measures in turn. She has a bunch of new moves to take care of, and here they are and how to counter them:
- Poison Nova: A classic Diablo 2 Andariel move as she throws blobs of poison around the small area. Make sure to dodge them and keep pressure with your attacks.
- Statues of Anguish: Whenever her health bar goes through each stage, she will summon statues of Anguish around the area. Stop everything you are doing and head over to destroy them as they shoot some really powerful beams that can take off a chunk of your HP.
- Fire and lightning attacks: Alongside the statues, she will also deploy a rotating fire beam and some lightning beams. Make sure to dodge all of them before attacking her.
- 20% health: Once you reach the final phase of the battle, she will summon a two-way rotating beam and you’ll need precise movement to dodge it, and one of them is a massive attack, so make sure to dodge it completely.
If you have high defensive stats, make use of it and keep attacking her through the attacks if you dare, and you might just finish her off before you even realize it.
Best builds to defeat Uber Andariel in Diablo 4
The top builds to defeat Uber Andariel in Diablo 4 are Thorns Barbarian and Heartseeker Rogue, but there are some strong options for players who choose other classes.
Barbarian – Thorns
The best Barbarian build to use against Uber Andariel is Thorns Barbarian. This build puts a unique twist on the melee style that Barbarians excel at, and it’s one of the easier builds to master.
Thorns Barb has one of the best single-target damage in the game, which is ideal when you’re going up against bosses like Andariel. For an optimal build, you’ll also want to consider using the Razorplate Unique, which gives your Thorns a chance to do increased damage.
Rogue – Heartseeker
Heartseeker Rogue is the easiest build in the class to get right, mainly because it focuses on casting one skill repeatedly. The Victimize passive allows you to deal a lot of damage to single targets, which is also what makes this a great option for Uber Andariel.
The only drawback of this build is that you’ll need to make sure your gear’s rolls are really well-optimized to get value out of it.
Necromancer – Bone Spirit
Necromancer players who go up against Andariel have mentioned that Minions are proving to be a difficult build against her, even though they’re among some of the best builds in the season. So, as an alternative, you may want to consider Bone Spirit Necromancer.
Bone Spirit Necro is one of the most efficient builds in Season 4 for going up against bosses. Huge damage numbers make it a great option for single-target focusing, and alongside Aspect of Swelling Curse, Bone Spirit becomes incredibly lethal.
Sorcerer – Fire Bolt
As a high single-target damage build, Fire Bolt Sorcerer is an easy build for players who are looking to take on Uber Andariel. This build can prove to be a little difficult to survive with, though, so you need to make sure you’re pumping as much damage as you can when your Defensive Skills are inactive.
You’ll want to use the Flameweaver Unique with this build, which increases your individual target damage and makes your attack speed faster so you can take Andariel down quicker.
Druid – Tornado
Tornado Druid is one of the strongest builds of the season, and it remains so as a build for difficult boss fights. It is heavily gear-dependent, though, so make sure you have Tempest Roar equipped before you take on Andariel.
The gameplay of Tornado Druid is simple to master, but be wary that Tornado behavior can be inconsistent when you’re using it. Additionally, make sure you have the Vigorous Aspect equipped to make yourself a little more resistant to damage.
