How to reduce Diablo 4 Server Slam download size
You can significantly reduce the size of the Diablo 4 Server Slam beta by following these steps:
- Launch the Battle.Net launcher and head to Diablo 4’s page.
- Click on the Options button (marked with a cog icon) beside the blue Install/Update button.
- Select Modify Install. The option won’t appear if the game is already downloading so make sure to pause any downloads.
- Go to Game content > Modify Install and uncheck the box for High-Resolution Assets.
- Resume the download.
With this method, you’ll be able to reduce the size of Diablo 4 Server Slam by almost 50%. This is because the High-Resolution Assets are for players who use 4K monitors and Ultra settings. Not a lot of players belong to this category and if you’re someone who’ll be playing on minimum or recommended settings, downloading the High-Resolution Assets is unnecessary.
Luckily, if you’ve already downloaded any of the previous betas, you’ll only have to install a short update instead of the full game.
