How to farm Mother’s Gift in Diablo 4
BlizzardIn Diablo 4 Season 5 you’ll be fighting to prevent the Infernal Hordes from overruning the Sanctuary, and they drop an item known as Mother’s Gift.
Although you can’t use it to purchase anything, it counts towards your reputation with the seasonal vendor Itzel, who’s a part of Lilith’s Triune.
As you keep earning more Mother’s Gift, you’ll keep leveling up your reputation which will help you unlock powerful rewards at the seasonal vendor, so how do you get more?
How to get more Mother’s Gift in Diablo 4
Whenever you defeat a powerful enemy in the Sanctuary, you’ll receive Mother’s Gift. Stronghold bosses, World bosses, and Elites are considered powerful enemies, and the more difficult the enemy, the more stacks of Mother’s Gift they’ll drop.
Considering that the level of difficulty across all four World Tiers in Diablo 4 is different, the best farming methods for Mother’s Gift will also differ.
World Tiers 1 & 2
Now that Legion Events are available in World Tiers 1 & 2, these are the best ways to farm Mother’s Gift during the early stages of the game. In these events, not only will you have to face 4 bosses in total, but there are multiple elites and powerful enemies that spawn too.
Since this is a group event, it can be completed quickly too. The only drawback is that the cooldown periods between two Legion Events are long, so you won’t be able to start a fresh one the moment one ends.
World Tiers 3 & 4
For World Tiers 3 & 4, the best way to farm Mother’s Gift would be the new Infernal Hordes activity. Not only will you face a fair number of bosses during a run, but you’ll also go up against multiple Elites that spawn with the enemy waves.
Are Helltides and Nightmare Dungeons good for farming Mother’s Gift?
Apart from the activities mentioned above, Helltides and Nightmare Dungeons can also net you Mother’s Gift, but they’re not the best method for farming the resource.
In Helltides, you’ll come across a lot of enemies, but the number of Elites or powerful enemies is comparatively smaller. The only way you find powerful enemy clusters is when you participate in Public Events during Helltides. However, it can be a hard task to find Public Events while trying to farm for Aberrant Cinders.
The same holds true for Nightmare Dungeons too. They are a good source, but they’re not farmable. The powerful enemy spawn varies across dungeons and will depend on the modifiers present on a Nightmare Sigil.
While you’re farming for Mother’s Gifts, you will also earn XP that will contribute towards your Battle Pass levels.
