Sorcerers in Diablo 4 Season 5 have received plenty of buffs to make up for their otherwise squishy builds. In addition to their rework, the devs introduced several Unique Items like the Axial Conduit, which can elevate builds like the Chain Lightning Sorcerer to S Tier.

If you want to get the Axial Conduit Unique for your build, here’s what you need to do.

Where to find Axial Conduit in Diablo 4

You can find the Axial Conduit while battling the Infernal Hordes, Season 5’s new rogue-like endgame mode. However, you’ll need to complete the questline The Eyes of the Enemy at World Tier 3: Nightmare difficulty to unlock this mode.

You’ll face multiple enemy waves in the Infernal Hordes mode.

Once you obtain the Infernal Compass to open the portal to the Infernal Hordes, your goal is to kill as many demons as possible to earn Burning Aether. This serves as a form of currency in this mode, which you can exchange for Spoils of Hell that may contain one of the new Unique Items introduced this season.

To increase your chances of obtaining the Axial Conduit in Diablo 4, you should aim for Spoils of Greater Equipment (available in Tier 3 or higher). However, trading your Burning Aether for regular Spoils of Equipment also offers a smaller chance of finding this unique item.

Here’s the amount of Burning Aether you’ll need to spend on the Spoils of Hell, which might contain the Axial Conduit:

Axial Conduit explained

  • Unique Pants
  • 359 Item Power
  • 359 Armor
  • +13.5 Chance for Chain Lightning Projectiles to Cast Twice (13-17.5)%
  • 11% Damage Reduction (9-11)%
  • 21.5% Resource Generation and Maximum (185-27.5)%
  • +1 to Chain Lightning (1-2)
  • Chain Lightning alternates between orbiting you and seeking up to 3 enemies. When it returns, it drains 6 Mana from you for each active Chain Lightning. After draining 66 total Mana, the bolt explodes for (512-2046) Lightning Damage.
  • Chain Lightning expires if you don’t have enough Mana for it to drain.

The Axial Conduit is an Ancestral Unique Pants item that increases Resource Generation, Damage Reduction, and adds a rank to Chain Lightning.

These stats are especially helpful to farm difficult stages of the Infernal Hordes, especially because it lets Chain Lightning alternate between seeking enemies, draining mana, and exploding for extra Lightning Damage.

Diablo 4 Season 5 has introduced a new questline that leads directly into the events of the Vessel of Hatred DLC. This makes the Hellbreach Dungeons and Infernal Hordes perfect for testing your builds before dropping everything for the new Spiritborn class.
