Diablo 4 Season of Blood new enemies

Fans discovered unreleased Diablo 4 locations, which might hint at what could be the next class added to Sanctuary. Here’s what the Diablo 4 community has been talking about.

Diablo 4 has been out in the public for a while, and players have seemingly explored everything that Sanctuary has to offer. However, fans discovered two unreleased zones that can be spotted in the latest Steam release that came along with Season of Blood.

The “new” areas of Diablo 4 were first spotted in the localization strings of the Steam Version, which are the codes used to identify the regions where players are and show them as part of their status on the Battle.net launcher.

According to SteamDB, the listed zones are called Teganze Plains and Torajan Jungles. Both areas are located in the southern part of Sanctuary and are described as formerly inhabited by the Tusked Lords (Druids), the Opaya, and the Umbaru tribes (which are related to Witch Doctors).

These descriptions hit hard on the Diablo 4 fan community, who couldn’t help to speculate if these unreleased regions could mean the addition of the Witch Doctor in the first expansion of the game.

Diablo 3 Witch Doctor
Witch Doctor is still a huge fan favorite of the Diablo franchise.

“If we get the Witch Doctor I’ll be the happiest person. Favorite class in D3 and now imagine how much cooler he would be with the D4 graphics instead of cartoon,” said Reddit user GonzoPunchi. But others aren’t so sure that the Witch Doctor is the next class to be included since Diablo 4 General Manager Rod Fergusson said that he’d like to see a “completely new class” for Sanctuary.

There’s also the theory that the presence of the ancient city of Kurast (located between Kehjistan and the Torajan Jungles) could have hinted what the next class could be:

“Getting Kurast verified means the next class is a Zakarum Zealot (possibly Knight to avoid negative zealot connotations),” explained Redditor Daily-Routine, “we need a holy warrior class, Zakarum is one of the few ‘religious’ sects from Diablo lore that hasn’t been pulled from.”

While we wait for any official confirmation about these new unlisted areas and what would be the next class added to Diablo 4, you can check fans’ massive request for Blizzard to change Helltides and how to unlock Diablo 4 secret cow level.
