Diablo 4 fans are desperate for a Paladin class in the game after the recent announcement of a new class in the Vessel of Hatred expansion. With Season 2 in full swing, many players have returned to the game and are wondering if there will be a new Paladin class in the future.

Will the Paladin class return in Diablo 4?
Blizzard have not confirmed or denied the return of the Paladin class in Diablo 4. As the first newly added class in the game is the Spiritborn, it is likely that future expansions will include new classes in the game too.
Diablo 4 Vessel of Hatred expansion will introduce a new “Spiritborn” class which is completely brand new to the series, instead of the much-requested Paladin. Although the exact name of the class is still not announced by the devs, recent leaks about the class have predicted that its abilities would solely involve element and nature manipulation.
What is the Paladin class in Diablo?
A major chunk of the Diablo 4 audience comprises of Diablo veterans who are well acquainted with the Paladin class as it was one of the most popular classes in Diablo 2. The Paladin in D2 were a kind of holy warriors, much like the Crusaders in Diablo 3.
Although the only melee-heavy class in D4 is the Barbarian for now, many players want the Paladin class to be included in the game. In Diablo 2, the Paladin was one of the five major classes and was heavily based on Strength and Dexterity.
With the region of Kurast allegedly returning in Diablo 4’s first expansion, Vessel of Hatred, many wanted to see this class in the game. That was everything we know so far about the Paladin class and whether it will be added to Diablo 4.
