Does Tom Holland play Apex Legends?
There have been rampant rumors that Hollywood star Tom Holland is a huge fan of Apex Legends, and this has led to many fans wondering if he plays Respawn’s popular Battle Royale title.
Tom Holland has achieved great popularity during his time as Marvel’s current on-screen Spider-Man along with his involvement in major franchises like the Sony’s Uncharted film adaptation.
After his role as Nathan Drake in the live-action Uncharted, fans have been wondering whether or not the Hollywood star has other connections to gaming, with one rumor claiming that he’s a huge fan of Apex Legends.
This has left players questioning — does Tom Holland play Apex Legends?
This rumor began circulating after a few Apex Legends pros and streamers posted videos claiming that they were playing with Tom Holland, and many fans were convinced that they heard the Spider-Man star’s voice.
However, it turns out that the voice fans heard in these videos simply belonged to a professional Apex Legends player called ‘Horizxon’ who happens to sound slightly similar to Tom Holland.
Popular Apex Legends streamers like iiTzTimmy’ posted videos such as the one below, simply titled ‘Ranked with Tom Holland,’ and while the voice sounds very similar, it’s not actually the Hollywood star.
While that’s not actually Tom Holland in these videos, it’s still entirely possible that he plays Apex Legends and other games since he has spoken about playing in friendly FIFA tournaments before.
His likeness was also used when Epic Games introduced Spider-Man and Nathan Drake skins for players to unlock and equip when hopping into a game of Fortnite during Chapter 3, Season 1.
Since he stars as Nathan Drake in the new Uncharted movie, based on the popular PlayStation gaming series, we might see him get involved in other video game franchises like Apex Legends soon.
