Modern Warfare 2 is attracting the attention of millions of gamers, but Dr Disrespect has firmly declared that his studio’s game, DEADROP, looks better than the latest CoD title.

Dr Disrespect has made no secret of his love/hate relationship with the Call of Duty franchise as the Doc has previously been the Community Manager for Sledgehammer Games, as well as a map designer for Advanced Warfare, but frequently cites issues with its games.

However, the streamer is now looking to become a fully-fledged presence in the gaming stratosphere as one of the co-founders of the new gaming studio Midnight Society.

The team are currently working on their first project, DEADROP, and after a lengthy session playing Modern Warfare 2 online, Doc went through his pros and cons and went on to explain why his game looks better than Modern Warfare 2.

“Yeah, I’m very confident that DEADROP is going to look way better than this game. I guarantee it. You know what I really want to tweet out? I wanna tweet out the firing range comparison,” he said.

He then went as bold as to say: “Even in our incomplete state, our non-finalized state, our game looks better than this [MW2].”

Dr Disrespect then broke out an image of DEADROP’s firing range area and compared it directly to Modern Warfare 2’s, showing the differences between the two.

He also clarified his stance on Call of Duty to the Champion’s Club: “I’m not trying to hate on the franchise, you spell CoD backward it spells Doc, I’m not trying to hate. I’m just trying to inspire, I don’t want to settle for this, I want to speak my mind, I’m gonna tell you what’s wrong with the game. I just want it to get better and better.”

He did go on to say that “Warzone 2 is where it’s at” and he’ll be able to hop into Al Mazrah when it launches on November 16, 2022.

The doc is definitely looking forward to landing in Warzone 2, and if you’re interested as well, why not check out the latest on the game’s proximity chat, plus, rumors on the next BR map.
