Call of Duty: Vanguard may have only been out a matter of days, but a number of issues with the game are coming to the surface. Most recently, Herschel ‘Dr Disrespect’ Beahm has called out the aim assist for being too overpowered.

Call of Duty: Vanguard has gone down a treat among the hardcore CoD community, but that’s not to say it hasn’t been released with its fair share of problems.

JGOD has detailed many issues hurting the game, and fans have reported glitches that are holding it back.

Now, popular streamer Dr Disrespect, who recently said he was done with Vanguard, has had his say on the aim assist he experienced while playing.

In a recent Vanguard stream, the notorious streamer showed off gameplay where the aim assist in Vanguard appeared to be ridiculously strong and easy to abuse.

Doc himself commented on how easy it was to lock onto enemies with minimal effort after clutching up a round.

“This might be the strongest aim assist in gaming – of all CoDs,” he said after landing a kill.

Later on in the video, Doc was even able to use Vanguard’s aim assist to pinpoint enemies behind walls.

While playing the new Champion Hill mode, by simply aiming down one side of the small map he was able to lock on to his opponent and deliver a callout to his teammate.

There was plenty of cover between Doc and the rival player, but the aim assist revealed their position without them coming out into the open.

He repeats the method in a later match, giving him the opportunity to flank around an enemy without having to use a Spy Plane.

There’s no doubt that aim assist is invaluable to controller players, and helps level the playing field between them and mouse and keyboard users.

But based Dr Disrespect’s gameplay, he clearly feels that it is particularly strong in this year’s entry.

Sledgehammer will no doubt be releasing plenty of updates over the next few weeks to keep improving the multiplayer gameplay, so we’ll have to wait and see if this issue gets addressed in a future patch.

As always, stay tuned on Charlie INTEL for all the latest CoD updates and changes.
