Popular streamer Dr Disrespect feels that Warzone is dying a slow death and is claiming that saving the Call of Duty Battle Royale will require a “big investment” from Activision.

Herschel “Guy” Beahm IV, more commonly known as Dr Disrespect, never shies away from sharing his opinions on Warzone. He has slammed the game’s Solo Playlists, criticized the aim assist, and threatened to quit multiple times.

He has also praised the game from time to time. Now, the YouTube streamer has made it clear that he wants the developers to save Warzone from dying out, and his suggested solution will be expensive.

The Doc shared his thoughts on the current state of Warzone in a September stream, and he was critical of the game’s design. He stated that it needs a total engine rebuild which focuses on improving server health to save it from dying out.

“Activision has to make a big investment, really,” he explained. “Unless they do something big, something focused on their servers, with the design… unless this game does something big technically, makes a huge investment, then it’s in big trouble.”

He called for the developers to “build around the new tech” and focus on improving how the networking, servers, and engine.

He feels that the best direction for the developers to take in Warzone is to make the acts of traveling, discovering, and surviving in the game “as immersive as possible.”

This isn’t the first time that the Doc has called for a total engine rebuild in the game, as he previously made similar suggestions back when Warzone was still in Season 3. It remains to be seen whether or not Activision will heed his advice.
