Dr Disrespect explains Warzone controller players’ advantage over Roze skins

Streamers Dr Disrespect and ZLaner have explained why Roze skins are less of a problem for Warzone controller players.

Since its arrival, the Roze skin has been infuriating Warzone players, and streamers Dr Disrespect and Zack “ZLaner” Lane explained why controller players have an advantage against players using the skin.

Since Roze’s Rook skin was added in the Modern Warfare Season 5 Battle Pass, Warzone players have long used it to blend in with the environment. Raven Software sought to nerf the skin going into Season 3, making changes to the skin itself and brightening the darker areas of Verdansk ’84.

However, players believe the changes aren’t enough, and top streamer Dr Disrespect has weighed in, saying that it’s less of a problem for controller players.

Roze skin Warzone

While fighting in Superstore for Atlanta FaZe’s Gold Rush Warzone tournament, Dr Disrespect was killed by a player rocking the Roze skin. As Doc pushed the player, their erratic movement combined with the dark shadows made them next to impossible to track. Doc missed his shots and lost the gunfight, saying “he disappeared on me.”

“I have no excuse other than I can’t track a shadow that blends in with a shadow, I just can’t on a mouse and keyboard,” Dr Disrespect explained. “Maybe on a controller, let that aim assist kind of lock on for you and you just close your eyes… but mouse and keyboard, if I lose them, oh man, it’s hard to recover.”

While Doc may have just been poking fun at the aim assist debate, ZLaner agreed with his statement. “This game has that massive disadvantage of people being able to use [dark colored skins], and then you hide in a shadow and you’re untraceable,” described ZLaner. “But if you are on a controller, you have aim assist, so you can at least play off that.”

Since crossplay has become commonplace, players have often argued whether mouse and keyboard or controller provides the biggest advantages. But with the aim assist bubble still being able to recognize a Roze skin where a player can’t, perhaps controller players have the advantage in this specific situation.

Dr Disrespect has said he’s taking a break from Warzone but has also admitted that he likes the new map, so we’ll need to see what’s next for the YouTube streamer.

Warzone expert claims overlooked AR kills faster than every meta weapon

Isaac ‘IceManIsaac’ Hamilton has discovered the power of an overlooked AR in Warzone which kills faster than every meta weapon.

For those looking to utilize a new AR in Warzone Season 4 Reloaded, an expert claims to have found an underused weapon that’s outperforming the meta.

While players gear up for the final season of Warzone and the release of Warzone 2, which actually had its release date leaked, the community is continuing to find new loadouts and weapon builds that challenge the meta in Season 4 Reloaded.

While JGOD provided his picks for the best Warzone Season 4 Reloaded meta loadouts, which included the very strong KG M40, another Warzone expert claims that an overlooked AR is what players should be using.

IceManIsaac is now claiming that the burst meta is coming back to Warzone, and one Assualt Rifle that has really surprised him is the Itra Burst, which he claims “kills faster than the KG, the NZ, the Automaton, the STG” and is actually “really viable to use.”

IceManIsaac Warzone Itra Burst loadout

  • Muzzle: MX Silencer
  • Barrel: Perfetto 140mm Rapida
  • Optic: SVT-40 PU Scope 3-6x
  • Stock: Botti SMI Adjustable
  • Underbarrel: M1930 Strife Angled
  • Magazine: 303 British 36 Round Mags
  • Ammo Type: Lengthened
  • Rear Grip: Stippled Grip
  • Perk: Sleight of Hand
  • Perk 2: On-Hand

One of the most important attachments for this loadout is Stippled Grip, as controlling the initial recoil is vital. The M1930 Strife Angled attachment helps keep the horizontal recoil down so that you can focus on just controlling the vertical movement.

Of course, the MX Silencer is a must, competing with the Monolithic Suppressor, and the Lengthened ammo type will further increase the bullet velocity allowing you to hit your target even faster.

The Itra Burst kills faster than the Cooper Carbine and KG M40, but you must hit your burst shots. IceManIsaac also feels that the weapon is great on smaller maps, but can also perform very well in long-ranged engagements.

However, IceManIsaac does not recommend this loadout for those playing Trios and Quads, but if you enjoy Solos and Duos on the smaller maps such as Rebirth Island and Fortune’s Keep, this loadout is definitely worth a try.

It is always frustrating when players cannot connect to the servers of Warzone and play when they want to. Here’s how you can check the current server status for the battle royale title.

Warzone has become one of the most popular multiplayer games in the world following its release in 2020, with an extremely large playerbase. However, sometimes fans aren’t able to hop into the game and enjoy its content.

This happens whenever the servers go down, preventing players from connecting to the game. When this happens, you’ll need to check the game’s current server status and see when if they’re currently online or not.

Here’s everything you need to know to see the current server status of Warzone.

Are Warzone servers down?

No, the Warzone servers are currently up and running smoothly. Call of Duty servers were down on August 16 after players reported connection issues across Warzone and Vanguard, but this issue has since been fixed.

Warzone players were facing server issues, with multiple reports coming in of stuttering, freezing, and lag in lobbies. Some players claimed to have been experiencing these issues all week.

At the moment, the Activision online services support page states that Call of Duty: Warzone servers are up and running on all platforms. This website keeps a constant update of the online services for the high-profile first-person shooter series

When the site updates, it alerts community members who visit it whenever there is an issue, such as the Warzone servers being down.

Warzone devs set to add smaller Titanium Trials squad size after community vote

Warzone players called for Titanium Trials to cover more Squad sizes, and Raven put the change to a community poll.

Warzone’s Titanium Trials rewards the best players with Terminator-themed rewards but with the mode being Quads only, players were calling for smaller squad sizes. Raven Software put it to a vote, and are set to add a smaller squad size to the competitive mode.

Warzone Season 4 Reloaded included a crossover with the classic Terminator franchise, bringing Arnold Schwarzenegger to both battle royale and Vanguard. That’s not all though, as they also dropped the Titanium Trials mode, a more hardcore version of Warzone where winning grants unique rewards.

With Titanium Trials being a high TTK Squad game, teamwork is key to winning and earning the Ultra Camos. If you can’t pull together a squad of four, you’re resigned to solo queuing, which is a coin flip at best.

Players have been calling for Titanium Trials to cover more Squad sizes, and the devs heard the requests loud and clear. Although there are only a few days left of the event, Raven Software put a Titanium Trials Duos mode to a vote.

Warzone’s developers asked players whether they want to see Titanium Trials replace the regular Duos mode, and put it to a vote on Twitter. At the time of writing with 12 hours left on the poll, 60.3% of the 19,434 users voted for Titanium Trials Duos to replace the regular Duos mode.

The next Warzone playlist update is set for Thursday, so, unless there’s a huge swing in Raven Software’s poll, Titanium Trials Duos should arrive on August 18. With Warzone Pacific Season 5 set to arrive on Wednesday, August 24, this means that Titanium Trials Duos should stick around until the end of the season.

The 40% of players who voted to keep the regular Duos might not be too happy, but it will only last for a few days, then regular Duos should return with the Season 5 update.

Season 5 is set to be Warzone’s final season before Modern Warfare 2 arrives and the game shifts to Warzone 2, for which you can check out the leaked release date.
