Dr Disrespect explains why he’s “not gonna play Vanguard again”
Herschel Beam AKA Dr Disrespect has been getting stuck into Call of Duty: Vanguard, the latest entry in the franchise, and says he’s “probably not going to play this game again.“
Vanguard is out in the wild, and CoD fans all over the world have been playing it and enjoying one of the series’ best-ever launches.
One person who’s not quite as on board as the rest is notorious video game streamer – Dr Disrespect. The Doc has been playing his fair share of Vanguard since the game’s release and has declared his lack of interest in the game during one of his latest streams.
It’s well-known that Dr Disrespect isn’t one to mince his words when it comes to voicing his opinion on things, and this has been evident with Sledgehammer Games’ latest CoD effort.
After playing a few games with his usual duo of TimTheTatMan and ZLaner, Doc’s demeanor began to noticeably change until he declared after one game: “I’m probably not going to play this game again.”
He explained: “There’s just no thrill for me, you can’t create content, the content’s stale, and it’s just multiplayer.”
Doc would explain that “he’s seen it all,” and in essence that Vanguard is just another Call of Duty multiplayer experience.
Then, despite the frantic and frenetic nature of a 18v18 Blitz Pacing game of Hardpoint on the Red Star map, the Doc finally lost interest and shut down the game.
“Yeah I’m done, that was awful, I’m trying to figure out if I had any fun today, I didn’t have any fun playing the game at all. That’s just me.”
Doc is known for ‘rage quitting’ games, and then returning to them almost immediately, so we’ll see if he does return to Vanguard at some point.
