UPDATE: In a statement to GamesIndustry, Activision representative confirmed the company will not have a booth at E3 this year. Activision says they will be doing some small behind closed doors sessions at the event, but nothing large scale.

“While we won’t have a traditional space on the show floor, we look forward to participating at E3 across a number of activities.”

Original Story:

The official floor plans for the 2019 E3 convention event has been released online this morning, showcasing which publisher and developers have booths and where those booths will be located inside the Los Angeles Convention Center.

The floor plans have revealed that Activision will not have any booths at E3 this year. They’re usually located in South Hall, exactly where 2K has a booth for 2019 show.

Activision has not announced officially yet whether they would have a presence at E3 or not. The company did have a booth at the 2018 show, but they did have more games as part of the booth last year compared to a light 2019 release slate.

The only confirmed Activision showing in relation to E3 is a developer panel for Infinity Ward at the E3 Coliseum.

Sony PlayStation is also skipping out on E3 this year. It’s not confirmed yet if Activision and PlayStation marketing is still in tact for 2019 Call of Duty game, but if it is, 2019 game news at E3 may be very limited.

We’ll update as learn more.
