Electronic Arts have announced the creation of a new studio, Full Circle, which will work on the upcoming EA Skate video game.
On January 17, 2021, EA announced the creation of an all-new development team based in Vancouver. The new studio, Full Circle, will be responsible for developing the much-anticipated new installment in the popular EA Skate franchise.
The new development team will be led by former Head of Xbox Live at Microsoft, Daniel McCulloch. “The fans wished Skate back into existence and we want them involved in the process from development to game launch and beyond. We want them to feel like they are a part of Full Circle,” McCulloch, the GM of Full Circle, said in a press release.
Full Circle is looking for community input on the next title in the beloved franchise. They’re also hiring developers who are passionate about the game they’re creating. “We’re all about having fun and making great games that people want to play with their friends. And, we’re looking for more developers to help us build compelling worlds for players to explore,” said McCulloch.
It’s been more than ten years since the last release of the Skate franchise. The original game helped to revolutionize skateboarding video games, transitioning the genre from the arcade frenzy of Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater to a more realistic simulation; similar to other sports games like Madden and FIFA.
Skater XL, released in 2020, is the only modern competition in the space. It will be interesting to see what new ideas EA and Full Circle bring to the table.
Fans have been waiting for a Skate 4 for over a decade. The announcement of Full Circle proves that EA is finally giving the community what they want.
It will likely be a long time before we hear any more news about the upcoming EA Skate game, with Full Circle still in the hiring process. Still, it’s good to know that the game will soon be in development.
When we do hear more, you’ll be the first to know. This game is sure to be one of the most anticipated titles ever to hit the sports video game genre.

Black Ops Cold War have a variety of different maps to play in, so here are the locations of the Hardpoint rotations in each one.
Hardpoint has returned, once again, with the launch of Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War. To help you get the leg up on the competition, here are all the Hardpoint Rotations in the game.
As anyone who has played Call of Duty for the past few years knows, Hardpoint is a simple objective game. You want to get inside a set area and rack up as much time as you can while keeping the enemies at bay.
The location of the Hardpoint keeps rotating after a minute, so you must be ready to move when the timer goes down. Ideally, you should move about eight seconds before the next rotation.
Some Hardpoints fantics will pick up the rotations pretty quickly but it can be slightly tricky when you’re trying to get them down at first. So, we’ve put together a full list of the rotations you need to know.
This map is a medium-sized tank factory that is located in the city of Hanover and provides some excellent close-quarters combat opportunities – especially when it comes to rotating through the Hardpoints.

Checkmate is a training facility located in Berlin. This map is very spacious so you will have a lot of room to run around and you will encounter enemies frequently, regardless of your playstyle.

Armada is unique because of the fact that this entire map is surrounded by naval vessels. This water-bound area is accessible in Combined Arms matches but for Hardpoint, you’re confined to one, tight ship.

This map consists of many buildings, tight corners, and even has a swimming pool that you can mess about with. It is made for intense close combat so you should always be ready to encounter someone any second.

Crossroads – Strike
Similar to Armada, Crossroads is built for bigger matches but when it comes to Hardpoint, it’s been shrunken down into a map called Crossroads – Strike. Again, it provides a setting for fast-paced action, so you need to be on high alert.

- Munitions Storage
This Cartel compound is located deep in the jungles of Nicaragua. It consists of a few structures, foliage and streams. You can run to the warehouse to get through to the enemy’s side quickly or even make your way along the streams.
Use the foliage for cover as you rush to the central tower but be wary of any snipers that could be waiting for you up there.

- Upper Crops
- Lower Riverbed
This map has a very classic design. There are three different lanes that all lead up to a Metro station where you will encounter most of the players. Running through the lanes allows you to pick off enemies from a distance with your rifle.

As the name implies, this map consists of a crashed Satellite in the Angolan desert. You can use the crashed object to gain some high ground that will give you a better look around the map. There are also many tightly packed lanes around the object that you can use to take out enemies one by one.

Nuketown ’84 is a multiplayer map that was brought in from the first Call of Duty: Black Ops to Cold War on November 24, 2020. A Christmas version of this area was also added to the game in December.

Mall At The Pines is a medium-sized map that was added to the game as part of Season 1 on December 16, 2020. This location is made for 6 vs 6 matches, and has 4 hardpoint rotations in Black Ops Cold War:
This map made its first appearance in Black Ops II, and the devs brought it to Cold War on December 16, 2020. Here are all the Raid hardpoint rotations:
- Circle Drive
- The Court
This is another multiplayer map from Black Ops II that was added for free in Cold War Season One. This medium-sized map designed for 6 vs 6 battles. This area is marked by its U-shape, with two train tracks that loop around the main hall.
These are the Hardpoint locations and rotations in Express:
- Walkway 1°
- Walkway 2°
- Main Road
When a Hardpoint only has ten seconds remaining, there is an in-game prompt alerting you to the next objective, but it doesn’t hurt to know the rotations before stepping foot into the mode.

Confirmed Apex Legends Season 9 buffs and nerfs
Respawn Entertainment have confirmed and hinted at a few different buffs and nerfs for Apex Legends Season 9.
With Apex Legends Season 9 set to go live on May 4, we will go over all the buffs and nerfs that Respawn Entertainment have confirmed are in development for the next major update.
Respawn Entertainment introduced quite a few changes in the Apex Legends Chaos Theory update. Many Legends received different buffs and nerfs to help balance them, and they plan to bring more of these in the near future.
The devs apply buffs and nerfs to certain Legends so that the battle royale still feels fresh after a new update drops. They also let the fans know what they’re currently working through community updates, and here’s what they’ve confirmed for Apex Legends Season 9.
Confirmed Legend buffs and nerfs for Season 9
Respawn have talked about their planned changes for Season 9 on social media, and the Apex Legends subreddit. It can be difficult to keep track of every announcement, so we’ve decided to go over each of them here.
Keep in mind that these aren’t the only changes that will be in the Season 9 patch, as more can be confirmed or discussed later on. Once we learn more, we’ll be sure to update the article with new information.
Respawn have the following changes planned for Lifeline’s abilities in Season 9:
- Passive nerf
- Ultimate buff
Lifeline’s passive ability is notoriously difficult to play against, and even the developers have acknowledged this as being particularly “frustrating.” She can generate a shield wall in the direction she is facing, and heal her teammates.
That’s why this ability will get nerfed, her ultimate will receive a buff. So far, the devs haven’t clarified what exactly these changes will be, but they’ve confirmed that playtests are taking place.
Gibraltar’s Gun Shield will be nerfed in Season 9. Respawn stated that they will apply damage bleedthrough to this ability, so that the Legend will only be able to deflect a certain amount of attack damage.
The devs initially planned to introduce this nerf in the 8.1 update, but a few bugs popped up which led to it being delayed.
Fans of this Legend have been hoping that she’d get a major buff to her abilities soon, and that will finally be the case in Season 9.
Respawn have stated that they will focus on a few additions to Loba’s bracelet in the next update. This could be a fix for her broken jump drive, or perhaps they’ll make some other improvements to her kit.
One hurdle faced by players is her animation time when she enters or exits a portal. This leaves her vulnerable to enemy attacksa quicker animation time, making Loba less vulnerable when entering/exiting the teleport.
Horizon’s introduction in Apex Legends Season 7 was followed by her immense increase in popularity. She gained the reputation of being extremely difficult to defeat, which is why she was hit with some nerfs in the Chaos Theory update.
Respawn confirmed that they have more changes planned for her in the future. While they haven’t specified what other nerfs she’ll receive, Lead Game Designer Daniel Klein has given fans an update.
“We weren’t ready with the big nerf for Horizon,” he said. “So we shipped what he had first. Bigger nerf coming soon, hopefully S9, but no guarantees.”
Other rumored buffs and nerfs for Apex Legends Season 9
While these Legends haven’t been confirmed to be getting a buff yet, Respawn have expressed their interest in making some changes to them.
The devs have wanted to implement some improvements to Revenant for a while now, and have explained the difficult in doing so. They planned to change up his hitbox, but this is proving to be particuarly tricky.
Daniel Klein stated: “Revenant’s tactical ability is pretty reliable and hittable, so probably not a great candidate for more damage,” he elaborated.”
While we don’t know for sure if there will be any buff for Crypto in Season 9, Respawn have stated that they’re considering some possible improvements.
That covers all the buffs and nerfs that the developers have hinted at for next update. If more are announced of confirmed, then we’ll update this guide right away.
With Season 9 scheduled to start on May 4, so expect there to still be more news to come on Legend changes between now and then.

Resident Evil 9 & Resident Evil 4 Remake in development
It seems that Capcom is developing Resident Evil 9 along with various other titles, such as the RE4 remake.
With Resident Evil Village on its way, there is a ton of speculation about what Capcom has planned next, and it seems that the RE9 might already be in production, along with some other projects.
There is a ton of anticipation for the upcoming Resident Evil Village, as new details keep emerging to feed the hype. However, it’s rumored that Capcom is already working on another follow up in the form of Resident Evil 9.
Some new information has popped up which suggests that the developers have been working on the title for a while now, at the same time as their other projects such as the RE4 remake. Here’s everything we know about this so far.
This was all revealed by Dusk Golem who took to Twitter in order to discuss Capcom’s announced and rumored Resident Evil titles. According to him, the devs had their hands full with multiple projects in 2018.
He has spoken about the highly anticipated Resident Evil 4 remake in the past, along with RE Outrage, but this time was different. In the latest tweet, he also brought up Resident Evil 9 for the first time.
He explained; “Wait until you find out that there was a period of time that RE:2, RE:3, RE8, Outrage, RE:4 & RE9 were all in development at the exact same time (late 2018).” This led to a few fans getting hyped about the possibility of seeing some Resident Evil 9 news soon.
“I literally cannot see it releasing before 2024,” he said. “To the point it’s actually not worth even talking about right now, anything could happen to it in dev, from the whole thing being rebooted (it’s happened a lot in the RE series).”
That could mean that RE9 will end up having a six-year development cycle. Capcom often works on multiple projects simultaneously, so a 2024 release isn’t entirely out of the question.
