EA FC 24 has several stylish and effective skills which can be utilized in every mode you play, with whatever playstyle you’re using, and whatever your formation might be. Many in-game situations need quick reactions, where skills can come to your rescue at the very last second and even impact the results of your matches.
With EA FC 24 offering many new skill moves, the game ensures that even veterans will have to spend a significant amount of time learning them. These skills include the four-star Drag Back Turn, the five-star Flair Rainbow, and more.

New EA FC 24 skill moves
New skill moves were added to EA Sports’ flagship game, and this time there are four new moves in EA FC 24: Ball Roll Drag, Drag Back Turn, Flair Nutmeg, and Flair Rainbow.
EA SportsAll skill moves in the game come with a minimum star rating requirement for a player to execute them correctly. The star ratings indicate the level of skill and technique a player possesses, and the higher the rating, the more proficient they are in performing complex moves.
Keep in mind that the directions of each input relate to which way the player is facing. We’ve provided the PlayStation inputs, but Xbox players need only swap L1, L2, R1, and R2 with LB, LT, RB, and RT.
Here are the seven new skill moves in EA FC 24 and the required star ratings for each one:
- Ball Roll Drag (4 Star): Hold L1 + Flick RS Forward, Left/ Right
- Drag Back Turn (4 Star): Hold L2 + Hold RS Back
- Flair Nutmegs (4 Star): Hold L1 + R1 + Flick RS Direction
- Flair Rainbow (5 Star): Hold L1 + RS Back, Forward
- Trickster Flicks: R3 + LS Direction
- Trickster Ball Roll: L2 + R2 (while standing)

The 1-star skill moves are so basic that they can be performed by any player in EA FC 24, including goalkeepers. These skill moves are so simple that learning the inputs will be an easy task.

Along with the 1-star skill level, the 2-star skill moves in EA FC 24 are also the easiest to learn, and while some players may be left out of this category, you don’t need a gifted player to successfully execute these moves.

As we move towards the 5-star level, the skill moves become more technical in EA FC 24, and the margin for error becomes narrow. A slight misstep could cause your player to lose the ball in a 1v1 situation. Mastering these 3-star skill moves in EA FC 24 requires practice and precision.

EA FC 24 5-star juggling skills
Players with 5-star skill moves will also be able to perform exclusive moves while they’re juggling. But you must remember that to execute each of these movements shown below, you need to be constantly juggling the ball, and to do this you just have to hold L2/LT and repeatedly tap R1/RB when standing.
