EA FC 24 Thunderstruck Black Friday promo revealed: Ronaldinho, Cruyff, Vini Jr, more

EA Sports made new mini-releases to the EA FC 24 Thunderstruck promo, adding new icons and players to the roster. Find out who all the Thunderstruck players are available in packs and which ones can be obtained in EA FC 24 Ultimate Team by completing SBCs.

EA FC 24 players have been spoiled when it comes to promos in recent weeks. Road to the Knockouts and FC Pro Live brought live special cards that will be upgraded throughout the year, while Triple Threat offered fans a men’s player, a women’s player, and a Hero from the same club.

The devs are showing no signs of slowing down though, as they confirmed this year’s Black Friday event is the brand-new campaign called Thunderstruck. Black Friday is always one of the biggest days on the Ultimate Team calendar, so the community no longer has to wait.

EA FC 24 Thunderstruck start date

The EA FC 24 Thunderstruck promo arrived on November 24, 2023, at 6 AM PT / 9 AM ET / 2 PM GMT. While EA Sports revealed a team filled with stars and Icons, they have not confirmed whether this new promo will last for one week like EA FC 24 Pro Live or if we will have a second Thunderstruck release next week.

What is EA FC 24 Thunderstruck Black Friday promo?

The new EA FC 24 Thunderstruck promo will bring new teams composed of live players and Icons whose attributes will improve based on their team’s performance.

This feature seems to be similar to the cards in the Road To The Knockouts promo. Both the Thunderstruck players and the Icons from the promo will receive upgrades based on their teams’ victories.

The Thunderstruck upgrades will work as follows:

• Men’s football upgrades:
  • For the first team victory in the next four Domestic League matches, the player item will receive a +1 In-Form upgrade.
  • For the second team victory in the next four Domestic League matches, the player item will receive +2 PlayStyles.
  • For the third team victory in the next four Domestic League matches, the player item will receive an extra +1 In-Form upgrade to their main attributes.
• Women’s football upgrades:
  • For each team victory in the next three Domestic League matches, the player item will receive an In-Form upgrade.
  • For two team victories in the next three Domestic League matches, the player item will receive +2 PlayStyles and an additional +1 In-Form upgrade.
• Icons upgrades:
  • For the first team victory in the next four Domestic League matches, the Icon item will receive +1 PlayStyle.
  • For the third team victory in the next four Domestic League matches, the Icon item will receive a +1 In-Form upgrade.
