Per the official blog, EA FC 25 will retain every team license from the Premier League, EFL, Barclays Women’s Super League, LaLiga, Liga F, Bundesliga, Google Pixel Frauen-Bundesliga, Ligue 1, MLS, and NWSL.

As for Serie A, the blog states that an “exclusive partnership” will bring the biggest stars and celebrate the top performers. However, AC and Inter Milan won’t be licensed due to an agreement struck with Konami in 2022 giving eFootball the exclusive rights from July 2024.

Although EA Sports often have deals with specific leagues, the arrangements allow individual clubs to work out their own deals. This is something that fellow Italian clubs Lazio, Atalanta, Napoli, and AS Roma have all done in the past.

Major unlicensed clubs in FC 25

  • AC Milan
  • Inter Milan
  • Atalanta
  • Lazio

Italian giants AC Milan and Inter Milan won’t be licensed in EA FC 25 after signing an exclusive deal with Konami and eFootball. This means they will have a generic name, kit, badge, and stadium this year.

The archrivals join fellow Serie A clubs Atalanta and Lazio as the four biggest teams not to feature. Both were unlicensed in EA FC 24 as well and were given custom names of Bergamo Calcio and Latium respectively.

Competition licenses

  • UEFA Champions League
  • UEFA Europa League
  • UEFA Super Cup
  • UEFA Conference League
  • UEFA Women’s Champions League
  • CONMEBOL Libertadores
  • CONMEBOL Sudamericana
  • CONMEBOL Recopa

All eight major competitions are fully licensed, including both the European and South American tournaments.

New FC 25 stadiums

  • Portman Road (Ipswich Town)
  • Stade Bollaert-Delelis (RC Lens)

There are only two new stadiums confirmed to arrive in FC 25 so far, the first of which is Portman Road, home of Ipswich Town FC. This is because The Tractor Boys earned promotion from the Championship last season to the Premier League, and EA have the rights to include all 20 home stadiums in their games.

The second is the Stade Bollaert-Delelis of RC Lens. Since returning to the French top flight in 2020, the club have established themselves as one the best teams in Ligue 1, and now their home ground is joining the likes of PSG and Lille in EA FC 25.

Leaks have also revealed another handful of stadiums that could appear. Plus, other promoted sides across Europe could be added to the roster, depending on how deep the licenses go.

Leaked and rumored stadiums

  • Voith Arena (Heidenheim)
  • Merck-Stadion am Bollenfalltor (Darmstadt)
  • Ewood Park (Blackburn Rovers)
  • Coventry Building Society Arena (Coventry City)
  • Estadio Jose Alvalade (Sporting Lisbon)
  • De Kuip (Feyenoord)
