Ultimate Team is all about building your dream squad full of the best players, including fan-favorite Heroes and Icons. But this is just the start, as the devs release regular special cards to refresh the meta and keep things exciting.
Many of these events are released at the same time each year, so what’s the first promo in FC 25?
What is the first EA FC 25 promo?
The first promo of EA FC 25 will be a new event called Total Rush, according to leaks from ‘Donk Trading’ and ‘FGZ.’ Little is known about this campaign as it hasn’t been officially announced by the devs, but based on the name, it could revolve around the 5v5 Rush mode that’s being added to Ultimate Team this year.
For many years, Ones to Watch was always the first event, but this was scrapped in FC 24 in favor of Road to the Knockouts. However, last season also brought the Nike Mad Ready event that was exclusive to those who bought the Ultimate Edition, so it’s likely that Mad Ready will be this year’s early access promo.
You can also expect a batch of Team of the Week cards to be live when the servers go up on September 20. Although not classed as a promo, these useful items drop every week to bring even more special cards to the game.

Although the schedule is never revealed ahead of time, there are certain Ultimate Team events that arrive like clockwork every year and will almost certainly return in FC 25. For example, Team of the Year and Team of the Season are promos that always drop in January and April respectively.
However, there are many that appeared last season that may be moved, changed, or removed altogether and replaced with new special cards. EA like to keep things fresh throughout the campaign, so there will be plenty of new promos that they’ll need to find room for.
It’s worth remembering that much of the summer content in FC 24 was dominated by Euro 2024 and Copa America, but these tournaments won’t be taking place again during FC 25’s lifecycle. So, don’t be surprised to see the gap filled with returning promos as well as some new additions.
As a general rule, the next event is only revealed a couple of days in advance through an in-game loading screen, so make sure to keep your eyes peeled for the latest announcements.
