EA FC 25 Women’s Career Mode explained
EA SportsEA FC 25 brings plenty of new features to Career Mode, including the opportunity to take control of a women’s team for the very first time.
The presence of the women’s side of football has grown in the series over the last few releases, with female players arriving in Ultimate Team with EA FC 24. But as the number of licensed leagues has grown, fans have called for a Women’s Career Mode for many years.
Well, their wish is finally coming true in EA FC 25, so here are the leagues, teams, and everything else we know about it so far.
How does Women’s Career Mode work in FC 25?
In EA FC 25, you’ll be able to start a Manager or Player Career using your favorite women’s football stars or create your own from scratch. You can then begin your journey as either the boss or a player for one of the many licensed teams.
This all works very similarly to EA FC 24, but there have been some changes to make Women’s Career Mode feel authentic and distinct.
For example, women’s clubs work on much tighter budgets than their male counterparts, meaning you’ll have to plan your signing much more carefully. Players also tend to work on much shorter contracts, so there’s more work to be done when it comes to keeping hold of your stars or earning a new deal.
There are also many fewer clubs, so there are fewer players to choose from, which makes the competition for any breakout superstars even fiercer than usual. This results in a greater emphasis on youth development, as many teams simply can’t attract the biggest signings.
