EA FC 25 will bring a major update to the roster of players available in Ultimate Team and Career Mode, so does that mean Barcelona’s Lamine Yamal will finally be added across all modes?

The Spanish winger enjoyed a breakout season in 2023/24, before lighting up Euro 2024. However, he was only added to EA FC 24 in June, and even then he was exclusive to the standalone Euro mode that featured up-to-date squads.

If you were hoping to build your squad around the talented youngster in FC 25, here’s everything we know about Lamine Yamal’s inclusion.

Will EA FC 25 have Lamine Yamal in Ultimate Team & Career Mode?

Yes, Lamine Yamal will be in FC 25 Ultimate Team and Career Mode. While this hasn’t been officially confirmed just yet, the ratings database leak revealed his in-game image and stats.

Although the winger featured heavily for club and country last season, he was only 16 years old for most of the campaign. EA Sports usually only add players to the roster if they’re 17 or older, which explains why he was excluded from most modes in EA FC 24.

They made an exception for the Euro 2024 mode because he was included in Spain’s 26-man squad, and their standalone mode recreated the tournament using realistic teams.

However, he turned 17 on July 13, 2024, meaning he’s eligible to appear in the new game alongside the rest of his teammates. Once his birthday had been and gone, he was also added to FC Mobile, which all but confirms that he’ll come to the new console and PC version when it launches on September 27.

Lamine Yamal FC 25 rating leaked

Lamine Yamal’s leaked rating in FC 25 is 81. This is a +5 upgrade from last year’s game, which reflects the standout performances in Euro 2024 that saw him earn a spot in the Team of the Tournament.

He’s guaranteed to be one of the best young players in the game and a high-potential signing on Career Mode. Going by his stats, he also looks like a great option for starter squads in Ultimate Team.

We’ll be sure to update this section once the full slate of ratings, including Yamal’s, has been officially revealed.

In the meantime, we have details on many of the Heroes and Icons set to appear this year, as well as the FC IQ tactics overhaul and all of the licensed leagues and teams.
