Major EA FC 24 ratings leak reveals Messi and Ronaldo downgrades
EA SportsThe first batch of EA FC 24 player ratings have leaked ahead of the game’s early access release on September 22, revealing downgrades to two of football’s biggest stars, Lionel Messi and Cristiano Ronaldo.
EA FC 24 is due to arrive on September 22, and the community is eager to kick off another Ultimate Team season. Following the rebrand, managers will have more options than ever before, thanks to the arrival of women’s players and the new Evolutions feature.
Despite the fresh additions, the core of Ultimate Team remains the same in EA FC 24, as fans are tasked with building a squad full of the world’s best players. However, those who should be recognized as the game’s biggest stars by the official ratings are always a hot topic in the lead-up to launch.
While we’re still waiting for the full slate of EA FC 24 ratings to be announced, a leak has revealed the overall stats of some big names.
EA FC 24 ratings leaked
On August 28, well-known leaker Donk Trading shared a handful of posts that shed light on a number of high-profile player ratings. Many big-name players were included, but the most noticeable was that Cristiano Ronaldo had been downgraded to 86.
The Portuguese legend started FIFA 23 with a 90 rating, but a drop in form and move to Al Nassr appears to have had a drastic effect on his stats. Of course, there’s a good chance the former Real Madrid and Manchester United star will feature heavily in Ultimate Team promos, so he could still have a role to play in the meta.
According to the leak, Ronaldo’s long-time rival, Lionel Messi, will also receive a downgrade from 91 to 90. This comes after seven-time Ballon d’Or winner left PSG to sign for Inter Miami.
Donk Trading also revealed the overalls of a number of players that could prove extremely popular when the game arrives. Check out all the leaked EA FC 24 player ratings below:
