Every FIFA 22 promo ranked

FIFA 22 Ultimate Team has seen plenty of promotions come and go, injecting dozens of high-rated players into the mix. But which of this year’s promos has been the best? Check out our rankings right here.

As much as FIFA 22 players thrive on the competition of FUT Champs and Division Rivals, it’s really the promotions that keep them coming back week upon week.

A solid batch of new special cards can instantly change a player’s squad, and shake up the entire meta in the process.

But which of FIFA 22’s promos has made the biggest splash, and which have come and gone with little fanfare? We’ve ranked every single one, below.

FIFA 22 Ultimate Team promotions ranked

Not all promotions are made equal. Some give us cards that are must-haves to be competitive in the higher ranks, and some are relegated to simply being SBC fodder.

These are the best and worst promotions, and special cards, that have hit FIFA 22 this year.

  1. Rulebreakers
  2. FUT Heroes
  3. Road to the Knockouts
  4. Ones to Watch
  5. Adidas Numbers Up

We’ll be adding every fresh promo as and when they are out, so be sure to check back here for our new rankings.

Best FIFA 22 Ultimate Team promotions

5. Adidas Numbers Up

One of the new promos in FIFA 22, EA’s collaboration with sporting giant Adidas turned out to be slightly disappointing. Not to say there weren’t any cards worth investing in – the Diogo Jota and Eder Militao will certainly keep popping up throughout the year.

The problem here is that many cards, despite the staggered upgrades, feel behind the power curve. This is mainly because stats that get boosted to 99 are dedicated by the boots they wear, meaning they aren’t always the ones that would make them useable.

Take Dortmund’s Mats Hummels, for example. While the prospect of 99 passing is nice, keeping his pace at 60 pretty much makes using him in-game impossible.

4. Ones to Watch

Ones to Watch is one of FIFA’s oldest promos, kicking off the season in style. In FIFA 22, OTW looked promising after an unbelievable summer transfer window that saw some of the world’s biggest names switch clubs.

The issue, and the reason it ranks so low, is that most of the best cards are yet to receive an upgrade. The likes of David Alaba and Memphis Depay have had healthy upgrades thanks to their in-forms, but the Lukakus and Sanchos have been rooted to their normal ratings.

This could all change, though. All it takes is a few tasty TOTW cards and this could still be one of the best Ones to Watch promos in recent memory.

3. Road to the Knockouts

This was the first promo to really provide FUT fans with players that were worth changing their team for. Some of the cards across Teams 1 and 2, even before any upgrades, have been terrorizing FUT Champs players for weeks.

The likes of RTTK Heung Min Son and Marquinhos are meta cards that will no doubt be useable until Team of the Season. And they’re only going to get better as the upgrades for qualifying start to rollout.

Then there are cards like Mukiele and Tonali, which plug position gaps in certain leagues and them more appealing to build a team in. And, of course, there was also THAT Fekir SBC which gave us an all-time great FIFA player used in thousands of teams.

2. FUT Heroes

FUT Heroes is an idea that fans have been calling for many years, and even though EA are clearly just testing the waters right now, it’s been a rousing success. These cult heroes have been a nice bridge between normal cards and the elusive ICONS.

David Ginola and Abedi Pele have established themselves as meta players that aren’t going anywhere any time soon. Even some of the cheaper options like Fernando Morientes and Robbie Keane are enough to give players clammy hands when defending.

The only real downsides are how few of them are, and the multiple Hero Upgrades that have lowered their market values. Hopefully, EA double down next year and give us more of these cards.

1. Rulebreakers

In many ways, this year’s Rulebreakers was everything you could ask for in a FIFA promotion. It conjured up some brilliant cards that will be used all year and made top players who don’t normally fit the meta a viable option.

Fan favorites like Trent Alexander-Arnold and Erling Haaland, usually suffer because of their poor pace. Now, they have been made into some of the best cards in their respective positions.

It also threw creative SBCs where you choose between two versions of the same Rulebreaker into the mix. This gave players the chance to fine-tune their team in a way that no other promo allowed.

Die-hard fans will be hoping for more promotions like this as the season moves forward.

Those were our rankings of every FIFA 22 promotion. Do you agree with our choices? Be sure to let us know on our social.

The Ligue 1 TOTS is set to hit FIFA 22 Ultimate Team very soon, celebrating the very best players that the French league has to offer. Here’s everything we know about FIFA 22 Ligue TOTS, from the release date to squad leaks.

FIFA 22 TOTS is well and truly underway, and EA is showering its players constantly with new and exciting content. The Premier League, Bundesliga, and LaLiga squads have made quite an impact on many FUT teams, and the Ligue 1 squad is set to follow suit.

In recent years, Ligue 1 has emerged as one of the most popular leagues in Ultimate Team, with many of the game’s biggest names plying their trade over in France for PSG, Lille, and other clubs. Unsurprisingly, this means the Ligue 1 is always one of the most-anticipated releases of the year.

We’ve got everything you need to know about FIFA 22 Ligue 1 TOTS right here, including the release date, players we expect to feature, and squad leaks.

FIFA 22 Ligue 1 TOTS release date

According to the official schedule announced by EA Sports, Ligue 1 TOTS will come to Ultimate Team on Friday, May 27, 2022. It will replace the LaLiga squad in packs from 10 AM PT / 1 PM ET / 6 PM BST.

The French league will take center stage for an entire week before being replaced by Serie A on the following Friday.

Don’t worry, though, if you miss out on the player you wanted, the best Ligue 1 players will likely return for Ultimate TOTS on June 10.

FIFA 22 Ligue 1 TOTS voting

Unfortunately, the Ligue 1 TOTS will not take fan votes into account. While the likes of the Premier League and Bundesliga always allow players to vote, other leagues are hand-picked by EA themselves.

The schedule never mentioned a voting window for the French league, and with the squad arriving on May 27, EA will be selecting the elite players involved.

FIFA 22 Ligue 1 TOTS predictions

There have been plenty of stellar performances in Ligue 1 this season. PSG were an unstoppable force as they reclaimed their title, but stars from up and down the table are also worthy of a mention.

Ligue 1 TOTS squad leaks in FIFA 22

Renowned Ultimate Team leaker FutSheriff has revealed what the Ligue 1 TOTS squad could look like, and it appears that the biggest names in world football have made the cut in FIFA 22. Sheriff is usually on the mark when it comes to squad leaks and they are suggesting that Neymar, Messi, and Mbappe will be included in the Ligue 1 TOTS.

Aside from PSG’s trio of attackers, Marquinhos, Fofana, Tchouameni, and Ben Yedder are expected to be the most sought-after players in the Ligue 1 TOTS squad.

Celta Vigo striker Iago Aspas is available via SBC during the TOTS promo. Here’s how to complete the FIFA 22 Aspas LaLiga TOTS SBC with the cheapest solution.

The LaLiga TOTS squad is currently taking center stage in Ultimate Team and players are desperate to secure some of the top items in packs. Luckily, EA have opened up a clear path to securing a fantastic LaLiga TOTS card that is sure to complement any of the top players you received in packs.

Celta Vigo striker Iago Aspas enjoyed a fruitful season in which he scored 18 goals, which placed him only behind Karim Benzema in the LaLiga golden boot race.

Here’s what you need to know about the FIFA 22 Aspas TOTS SBC, including the cheapest solution.

FIFA 22 LaLiga TOTS Aspas SBC stats

While it’s disappointing that Aspas doesn’t have either 5* skill moves or weak foot, a 4* combination can still do the trick. In addition, he makes up for his lack of 5* skill moves with excellent Dribbling stats.

97 Agility and 93 Ball Control make for an excellent pair that allows Aspas to feel fluid on the ball. Furthermore, Aspas is deadly in front of goal with 98 FInishing and 95 Shot Power.

How to complete FIFA 22 Aspas TOTS SBC

To complete this SBC, players will need to give up two squads: Spain and LaLiga. With a value of around 135,000 coins, Aspas is an affordable FIFA 22 TOTS player that shouldn’t set you back too much.

You can check out the cheapest solution below.

Spain requirements

  • # of players from Spain: Min 1
  • Squad Rating: Min 84
  • Team Chemistry: Min 70

Spain solution – Cost: 33,000 coins

LaLiga requirements

  • # of players from LaLiga: Min 1
  • # of TOTW or TOTS players: Min 1
  • Squad Rating: Min 87
  • Team Chemistry: Min 55

LaLiga solution – Cost: 102,000 coins

The Iago Aspas TOTS SBC will be available for a little over a week as it expires on June 4, so you shouldn’t run out of time given how affordable the solutions are.

You may have already completed the incredible Flashback Isco SBC, in which case he and Aspas would create a green chemistry link in your squad. Several of the TOTS SBCs have cost a lot of coins, but Aspas is currently looking like a bargain.

Published

on

Any FIFA 22 Ultimate Team player who happens to have a Twitch and Amazon Prime account can claim free Prime Gaming packs in FUT this year. Here’s an easy step-by-step guide on how to claim yours.

Packs are the lifeblood of FIFA 22 Ultimate Team, and it’s the constant lure of pulling one of the game’s top-rated superstars that keeps millions of fans coming back every day.

Usually, earning packs requires plenty of effort from the player, whether it’s grinding out wins on Division Rivals or taking on Squad Battles offline.

With the Twitch Prime Gaming pack, fans have the chance to earn rewards for absolutely free, and here’s how you can do it.

What are FIFA 22 Twitch Prime Gaming packs?

Twitch Prime Gaming packs are free rewards offered to any FIFA 22 Ultimate Team player with a Twitch account and a valid Amazon Prime Membership.

Players who have subscribed to Amazon Prime automatically have access to Prime Gaming, meaning they qualify for Twitch Prime Gaming packs.

EA has teamed up with the two giant companies to offer players rewards throughout the year, in the form of free packs, containing untradeable cards and player picks.

The rewards are dropped monthly throughout the season, so be sure to keep an eye on EA’s social media for the latest releases.

How to claim FIFA 22 Twitch Prime Gaming packs

In order to claim your free Twitch Prime Gaming pack, you must link all three of your accounts together.

It’s worth noting that if you have an Amazon Prime Membership but no Twitch account, you can create one for the purpose of these rewards.

You can find our guide on how to do this below:

  1. Head over to the Prime Gaming website and link your Twitch account to your Prime Gaming account
  2. Follow the prompts to also link your EA and Twitch accounts
  3. Make sure the EA account you link is the one attached to your FIFA 22 Ultimate Team on your main platform
  4. Head over to Twitch and click on the crown in the top righthand corner of the screen
  5. From this screen, you can claim your Twitch Prime Gaming pack
  6. Load into FIFA 22 Ultimate Team and find your rewards on the store

What’s included in Twitch Prime Gaming Pack #8

The eighth of the Prime Gaming packs in FIFA 22 Ultimate Team has yet to drop, which has bewildered Ultimate Team players. Usually, the pack drops between the 15 and 19, but as of May 24, there is still no sign of it. Rumors suggest that the pack will be arriving on May 25, so players won’t have to wait much longer.

Among the untradeable rewards, there are a handful of rare gold players and player picks, as is customary. However, leaks claim that the loan player available this time will be a valuable Prime Icon on a five-game loan.

  • 7 Rare Gold Players
  • Prime Icon (five-game loan)
  • 2x 82+ Player picks
  • 12 Rare Consumables

That was how you can claim your Twitch Prime Gaming packs in FIFA 22 Ultimate Team.
