We’ve compiled all of the vehicles in Warzone 2 and DMZ into one handy guide so you know what you’ll be driving around on both Al Mazrah and Ashika Island in Season 2.

Warzone 2 offers players two maps to explore and battle it out on, Al Mazrah and Ashika Island. While the latter is much smaller and built for Resurgence, you’ll still find yourself looking for a vehicle to get around.

Luckily, there’s an abundance of vehicles to choose from, if you get time to choose. Vehicles are a great way to rotate fast and even push unsuspecting enemies, as players can shoot out of the windows or climb on the roof.

In the list of vehicles available in Warzone 2 and DMZ, you’ll notice classics like the trusty ATV and SUV. They’ll be reprising their roles as key methods of transportation when you’re looking to rotate quickly or make a great escape.

The new vehicles for Warzone 2 added at launch by the devs included a Heavy Chopper and the GMC Hummer EV. The Heavy Chopper is unique in that it can hover in the air without the need for a pilot. Meanwhile, the GMC Hummer EV is the first electric vehicle to make its way to Warzone.

The Warzone 2 Season 2 update added even more, as players can get their hands on the new Personal Watercraft vehicle. Let’s go through every vehicle, how many people they can hold, and how much damage they can take.

Warzone 2 & DMZ vehicle fuel & gas station explained

Long gone are the days of endless fuel resources in Warzone as Warzone 2 introduced a new fuel mechanic for all of its vehicles.

Every vehicle, including the electric vehicle, will expend a limited amount of fuel as they take you across Al Mazrah or Ashika Island in Warzone 2 and DMZ. A vehicle with no fuel is no longer usable, luckily, you’ll be able to top up your fuel reservoirs in Warzone 2.

Players can refill their vehicle’s fuel with either Gas Cans that can be found around the map, or at several of the Gas Stations or EV Charging Stations located around Al Mazrah. Gas Stations offer two features as players will also be able to repair the damage to their vehicles which will replenish their health.

As well as new Vehicles and a refined fuel system, Warzone 2 has also opened up the possibilities when it comes to the rest of vehicular gameplay.

Leaning

Players can now lean out of applicable windows and fire weapons, giving you ample opportunity to jump players and get the edge on them, but also leaving yourself vulnerable.

Roof surfing

Something that is going to make for great viral social media clips, if you’re riding along in a vehicle, you can now climb onto the vehicle’s roof.

You will be horribly exposed, but you will be able to rein down fire on opponents, and also leap from the vehicle to escape or to someone else’s vehicle like you’re in a Hollywood blockbuster.

Shooting tires

Thanks to improved damage models in Modern Warfare 2 and Warzone 2, there are now more ways of tackling the problem of an attacking vehicle.

You can either shoot out a vehicle’s tires to destabilize the vehicle, or you can shoot one of its doors until it’s fallen off – leaving the driver and passengers susceptible to enemy fire.

Swapping seats

Described as an “advanced strategy” by the devs, they recommend that if you are low on health or are taking damage whilst driving a vehicle then swap seats.

This will allow you to quickly use a Stim to heal up or plate up before getting back behind the wheel.
