The NZ-41 has been nerfed and Modern Warfare weapons received a major buff in Warzone Pacific Season 4 Reloaded, so here’s every change.

Price with Modern Warfare AMAX in Warzone

It appears the reign of the NZ-41 is over, with the Warzone Pacific Season 4 Reloaded update nerfing Vanguard Assault Rifles and bringing major buffs to Modern Warfare and Cold War’s. Here’s every weapon buff and nerf in Warzone Season 4 Reloaded.

While Warzone has almost 200 weapons to choose from, there are always a few weapons that reign supreme. During Season 3 and Season 4, it was Vanguard’s NZ-41 and H4 Blixen SMG that dominated every match, and players were desperate to see Modern Warfare guns back in the meta.

Warzone Season 4 Reloaded is here, and it brought a ton of meta-changing buffs and nerfs to the game. Here’s every weapon buff and nerf in the Season 4 Reloaded patch notes, including the NZ-41 nerf and Modern Warfare weapons’ buffs.

Diamond NZ-41 in Warzone

NZ-41 and BAR nerfed in Warzone Season 4 Reloaded

Warzone’s NZ-41 was by far the best weapon in Season 4, with the BAR coming in close behind.

Now, the BAR has been given a ton of extra recoil, and almost every aspect of the NZ-41 has been nerfed. Its “sustained recoil control” has been nerfed, so shouldn’t stay laser accurate for very long. Plus, it’s had its damage range, neck multiplier, and overall damage reduced.

This should finally nerf the NZ-41 once and for all, and make way for underused Modern Warfare weapons which have been given a buff.

Plus, the ever-popular H4 Blixen and Marco 5 SMGs have also been nerfed, so the SMG meta should be more open.

CR-56 AMAX in Warzone

Major Modern Warfare weapon buffs in Warzone Season 4 Reloaded

Even though not as powerful as Vanguard weapons in the past, Modern Warfare’s guns remained fan-favorites in Warzone. However, they’ve just become much more powerful with the Season 4 Reloaded update.

Modern Warfare’s CR-56 AMAX, Kilo 141, and M13 all received significant buffs, with Cold War’s FARA 83 and Krig 6 also getting some love. The M13 got the least significant buff, with its neck damage multiplier getting buffed from 1.01 to 1.3.

But the Kilo and AMAX should be much more powerful now. What held the Kilo back was its low damage and severe damage drop-off, but not anymore. The Kilo’s minimum damage has been increased, and the mid-range drop-off removed.

The AMAX, FARA, and Krig 6 have all had their damage increased too, so should be much more powerful going forward.

Warzone expert claims overlooked LMG’s TTK outshines best weapons in Season 4 Reloaded

According to a Warzone expert an underrated LGM can surpass the KG M40 as the best long-range weapon in Season 4 Reloaded.

UGM-8 Warzone Operator

It’s been some time since an LMG has dominated the long-range Warzone meta, but an expert believes that this could be the case in Season 4 Reloaded.

Thanks to balanced buffs and nerfs in the Season 4 Reloaded update, Warzone’s long-range meta is quite varied at the moment. Despite the diversity, the KG M40 is marginally considered the best weapon in Warzone.

Popular weapons tend to hog the spotlight in Warzone and the KG M40 is currently the most popular weapon in Warzone. However, a Warzone expert believes that an LMG with an incredible TTK can outshine every long-range option in Season 4 Reloaded, including the KG M40.

UGM-8 LMG in Warzone Pacific

The UGM-8 made its way to Warzone at the start of Season 4 and had an immediate impact thanks to a powerful burst loadout. Now, Warzone expert WhosImmortal believes that a fully automatic loadout for the UGM-8 has what it takes to rise to the top of the long-range meta.

Players have been calling for LMG buffs so the class can compete with overpowered Assault Rifles. Thanks to an incredible TTK over range, the UGM-8 can outshine the NZ-41, Vargo 52, and KG M40. As WhosImmortal puts it: “we’re outgunning everything with this thing.”

WhosImmortal backs up his claim with stats and it’s clear to see just how much the UGM-8 dominates when it comes to TTK. Of course, the KG M40 is the more accurate of the two, but if you’re confident in your aim, then utilizing the LMG’s absurd TTK is your best bet.

WhosImmortal’s Warzone UGM-8 loadout

  • Muzzle: MX Silencer
  • Barrel: Bernard XL214 736mm
  • Optic: SVT-40 PU Scope 3-6x
  • Stock: Mercier WT Ancre
  • Underbarrel: M1930 Strife Angled
  • Magazine: 6.5mm Sakura 125 Round Box
  • Ammo Type: Lengthened
  • Rear Grip: Hatched Grip
  • Perk: Tight Grip
  • Perk 2: Fully Loaded

For starters, the Bernard XL214 736mm is one of the weapon’s fully automatic barrels and it will help with recoil control while also increasing bullet velocity.

The most important attachment is without a doubt the 6.5mm Sakura 125 Round Box as it is vital in maximizing the UGM-8’s TTK. If you want to use the LMG as a medium-range aggressive weapon then you can opt for a smaller magazine size.

Most of the remaining attachments like Tight Grip, Hatched Grip, M1930 Strife Angled, and Mercier WT Ancre contribute to the weapon’s aiming stability and recoil control. While the LMG boasts a fantastic TTK, making your shots count and taming the weapon is the key to this loadout’s success.

Best MP40 loadout for Warzone Pacific Season 4 Reloaded

Here are the attachments, Perks, and Equipment to make the best MP40 loadout for Warzone Pacific Season 4 Reloaded.

MP40 Warzone Pacific loadout

The MP40 SMG is a great choice for close-range combat, and here are the right attachments, Perks, and Equipment that you can use for the best MP40 loadout in Warzone Pacific Season 4 Reloaded.

Warzone Pacific features a variety of powerful SMGs that you can use in close-range battles, and the MP40 remains a viable pick in Warzone because of its minimal recoil and decent damage.

Even after the meta changes following the arrival of the Season 4 Reloaded weapon buffs and nerfs, you can still use the MP40 to cause some serious pain. We’ll go over the ideal attachments, Perks, and Equipment you need to do that.

Here’s the best MP40 loadout for Warzone Pacific Season 4 Reloaded.

Best Warzone MP40 loadout attachments

Warzone MP40 loadout attachments
  • Muzzle: Recoil Booster
  • Barrel: VDD 189mm Short
  • Optic: Slate Reflector
  • Stock: Krausnick 33M Folding
  • Underbarrel: m1941 Hand Stop
  • Magazine: 7.62 Gorenko 45 Round Mags
  • Ammunition: Lengthened
  • Rear Grip: Stippled Grip
  • Perk: Steady
  • Perk 2: Quick

This Warzone MP40 loadout will start by equipping the Recoil Booster muzzle and VDD 189mm Short barrel to boost the weapon’s damage range while lowering its TTK.

The Krausnick 33M Foldingm1941 Hand Stop, and Stippled Grip will help bring the weapon’s recoil under control. You can then use the Slate Reflector optic to eliminate enemies from a distance.

We went with the 7.62 Gorenko 45 Round Mags as our magazine choice to ensure that the weapon has plenty of ammo, and the Lengthened ammo type will provide a boost to bullet velocity.

For our perks, we went with Steady to boost movement speed while aiming down sights, and Quick to improve movement speed so that we can get around the map quickly.

Best Warzone MP40 Perks and Equipment

E.O.D Perk in Warzone Pacific
  • Perk 1: E.O.D
  • Perk 2: Overkill
  • Perk 3: Amped
  • Lethal Equipment: Semtex
  • Tactical Equipment: Stim

E.O.D will protect you from explosive damage from Grenades, and Overkill will allow you to pair the MP40 with an Assault Rifle like the Cooper Carbine. For our final Perk, we went with Amped to quickly swap between the two weapons.

Coming to our choice of equipment the Semtex will allow you to deal damage to multiple foes and a Stim will give you a quick health boost.

How to unlock the MP40 in Warzone Pacific

MP40 in Call of Duty Vanguard

If you want to get your hands on the MP40 in Warzone and Vanguard, then you’ll need to reach Rank 16. You can do this after hopping into a few matches and playing well until you level up.

Once you reach Rank 16, this weapon will automatically be added to your inventory, so you don’t need to worry about completing some long and difficult unlock challenge first.

Best Warzone Pacific alternatives to MP40

If you’re looking for a great alternative to the Warzone MP40 then the Macro 5 is a great SMG choice that’s ideal for close-range combat. The H4 Blixen is another great option that boasts an impressive K/D ratio.

Warzone players beg devs to make Champion of Caldera LTM permanent

Warzone’s Champion of Caldera has been a massive hit amongst players and they’re desperate to see the LTM become a permanent mode.

Published

on

Warzone Caldera Operator

The Champion of Caldera LTM is one of Warzone’s most popular playlist additions and players are begging the devs to make it a permanent mode in Season 4 Reloaded.

The Warzone playlist changes every week with new modes replacing old ones in a constant cycle. This rotation helps keep the game feeling fresh as players are never stuck with the same modes for too long.

Warzone LTMs are usually a big success amongst players as they offer an escape from the gameplay formula they’re used to. Previously, Operation Monarch, Caldera Clash, and Golden Plunder have all been LTMs that players seemed to enjoy.

However, the nature of a limited time mode is self-explanatory, in that it is meant to only be around for a short amount of time. In this short period, players have grown to love the Champion of Caldera mode, so much so that they’re now demanding that the devs make it permanent.

Champion of Caldera has been around since Season 3 Reloaded and the mode allows you to spawn in with your choice of loadout. With no need to loot for top-tier weapons, your goal is to survive amidst a constantly-closing circle that forces a ton of engagements.

Reddit user chopbustre produces an explanation in favor of the mode staying, in which they claim that the constant action has actually made them a better Warzone player: “My game sense and skill has improved dramatically over the last week. I am a 1 KD player who has upped to 1.6 since I started playing this mode.”

It seems there are benefits to playing Champion of Caldera beyond the fact that it is a fun Warzone experience. With over 200 upvotes at the time of writing, it’s no surprise that several players shared the OP’s sentiment:

“Fully agree. The constant circling and no camping truly is the best. In regular caldera people get loadout in sit in the same place all game. This definitely minimizes that and makes this mode more enjoyable.”

It’s rare to see such a large group of players all in agreement over the fact that the “mode needs to stay.” In fact, most players unanimously agreed when it came to the mode’s one issue: “they need to take out the ability to shoot/kill people in the air off the plane drop.”

Since players drop in fully equipped with their top loadouts, the ability to shoot players out of the air can ruin the fun from the get-go. Nonetheless, Champion of Caldera has been a resounding success for the Warzone community and it’s clear to see why they want it to stay.
