Cold War weapons have been overlooked in favor of Vanguard weapons in Warzone Season 3 Reloaded, but Ean ‘FaZe Booya’ Chase believes the Krig 6 is fully capable of dominating on Rebirth Island.

The Warzone meta has shifted greatly throughout Season 3 Reloaded and many have noticed that Modern Warfare and Cold War weapons have fallen to the wayside. However, a Warzone expert has proven that a Cold War Assault Rifle can compete with Vanguard’s best.

FaZe Booya has a knack for figuring out which weapons excel on Rebirth Island and his latest discovery has him singing the praises of the Krig 6. Thanks to the AR’s friendly recoil pattern, it suits the prison island’s medium to long-range gunfights.

Krig 6 in Warzone

When Cold War weapons were integrated into Warzone, the Krig 6 immediately rose to prominence as the battle royale’s premium long-range Assault Rifle. However, with every new season comes major weapon buffs and nerfs that alter the meta.

The Krig 6 was eventually overshadowed by other Assault Rifles and recently by Vanguard weapons like the STG44 and NZ-41. Luckily, for fans of the classic weapon, Booya reveals the Krig 6 loadout that will lead you to Rebirth Island success.

FaZe Booya’s Warzone Krig 6 loadout for Rebirth Island

  • Muzzle: Agency Suppressor
  • Barrel: 15″ CMV Mil-Spec
  • Optic: Axial Arms 3x
  • Rear Grip: Serpent Wrap
  • Magazine: Stanag 60 Rnd

This Krig 6 loadout varies slightly from the standard setup you may be used to. Instead of opting for an underbarrel attachment as most players would, Booya decides to increase ADS speed with the Serpent Wrap.

The Warzone expert explains that the extra ADS speed works really well on Rebirth Island as you’ll be taking one gunfight after the next.

In addition, the Krig 6 doesn’t suffer without an underbarrel attachment to control recoil, “this gun has no horizontal recoil, it’s pretty much all vertical, so as long as you pull down on your thumbstick it will not move at all.”

Meanwhile, the Axial Arms 3x optic is the standard choice for a precision sight and the Stanag 60 Rnd will have you taking on squads of enemy players. Just remember to pull down on your thumbstick and the Krig 6 will be a devastating Assault Rifle on Rebirth Island.
