Sniper Rifles have been a bone of contention in Warzone for some time, and Jason ‘FaZe Jev’ Eugene believes that Activision needs to make changes to Black Ops Cold War’s Sniper Rifles in Warzone.

A lot of good came from the integration of Treyarch’s Black Ops Cold War into Warzone. It’s led to the seamless transition of many weapons with some of them, such as the DMR, MAC-10, and Diamattis, even having a huge impact on the game.

It hasn’t all been good though with many of the Black Ops Cold War Sniper Rifles suffering in Warzone due to their sluggishness. Faze Jev thinks this is an issue as it’s making Sniper Rifles less fun to use in Warzone Season 2.

Rear Grips hurt Cold War Snipers in Warzone?

There’s always been a weird gap between the information presented in-game about attachments, and the true reality behind what they do. Whether they are simple coding errors or not, it leads to guns appearing to be much better, but actually performing a lot worse.

Raven Software posted a tweet to indicate that they had combated the Agency/GRU/Wrapped Suppressors issue. Burt FaZe Jev was quickly on the case to pose his follow-up question.

It’s very rare that Warzone players will use Black Ops Cold War Sniper Rifles in an effort to secure victories as the Warzone ones perform better.

The renowned tester of guns TrueGameData even tested out the theory on the various Black Ops Cold War Sniper Rifles using Warzone rear grips. The results were truly astonishing as they showed a huge, negative discrepancy between the stated figures and their true value.

The findings were consistent across the board with the LW3 and Pelington both suffering with their “improvement” perks.

With an invincibility glitch and out-of-bounds glitch currently disrupting Warzone Season 2, you’d imagine that increasing the usage of Sniper Rifles won’t be high on Activison’s to-do list.
