Vanguard’s Type 100 SMG was buffed in Warzone’s December 16 update, and FaZe star Kris ‘Swagg’ Lamberson has revealed the “ridiculous” meta loadout you should be using.

The Type 100 SMG received a significant buff in the December 10 update, which gave it major damage buffs across all categories. This prompted top Warzone streamer FaZe Swagg to give it a try in Caldera, where he dropped a whopping 34 kills using it alongside the Bren.

Here’s why FaZe Swagg is so impressed with the Type 100 in Warzone, as well his best loadout to use with it.

The Type 100 wasn’t a particularly bad gun in Warzone, but massive damage buffs made in early December catapulted it into the meta.

After using it, Swagg said that the Type 100 “is so viable and so good, it’s ridiculous.” He went on to say that “it’s definitely a meta SMG for sure now, no question.”

Here are the changes made to the Type 100, which prompted Swagg to give it a shot:

  • Maximum Damage increased to 28, up from 22
  • Mid Damage increased to 22, up from 17
  • Min Damage increased to 18, up from 15
  • Neck Damage Multiplier decreased to 1.4, down from 1.6

These changes have made it more effective at every range, turning it into the “ridiculous” beast that Swagg was so impressed with.

  • Muzzle: Recoil Booster
  • Barrel: Shiraishi 374mm
  • Optic: Slate Reflector
  • Stock: Warubachi Skeletal
  • Underbarrel: M1941 Hand Stop
  • Magazine: .30 Russian Short 36 Round Mags
  • Ammo Type: Hollow Point
  • Rear Grip: Polymer Grip
  • Perk: Vital
  • Perk 2: Quick

FaZe Swagg built his Type 100 for speed and close-range power, making it the perfect complement to the incredibly powerful Bren LMG.

The .30 Russian Short 36 Round Mags vastly increase the Type 100’s damage and range, and the Vital Perk makes it so that upper chest shots deal the same damage as headshots. Then, the Recoil Booster Muzzle increases its fire rate, and the Warubachi Skeletal Stock increases mobility.
