The wait is finally over. Almost a month after launch, and players are treated to their first League Player Objective in FIFA 22 Ultimate Team. Augsburg’s Reece Oxford is the first player up for grabs.
It’s not often we see English defenders test their skills abroad. Reece Oxford is one of the few who departed the English Premier League in search of additional game time. FIFA has chosen to highlight his special set of attributes with a League Player Objective.
What makes Oxford so special is the ability to link him to Bundesliga players as well as English players. This special blend at center-back is similar to Fikayo Tomori’s unique linking that came about in FIFA 21 as a member of A.C. Milan.
With superior statistics, it is safe to say Oxford’s potential impact can be of greater value than Tomori’s.
Reece Oxford League Player Objective Requirements
There are a total of five objectives to complete, so FIFA 22 players definitely have their work cut out for them. All five of the objectives must be completed playing Live FUT Friendly: Managerial Masterpiece. The Friendly mode has a specific ruleset made to challenge even the best FIFA 22 players. Before we get into that, let’s take a look at the objectives.
Keep in mind, the following objectives MUST be completed in the Live FUT Friendly: Managerial Masterpiece.
- Scoring Prowess: Score 30 goals using Bundesliga players.
- Assist Kings: Assist 20 goals using Bundesliga players.
- Bundesliga Basics: Assist with a cross using a Bundesliga player in four separate matches.
- Feeling Finesse: Score a finesse goal using a Bundesliga player in 15 separate matches.
- Bundesliga Wins: Win six matches by min. 2 goals using only Bundesliga players in the Starting 11.
As far as breaking down the difficulty level, objectives 1-4 are pretty straightforward. The first two will progress naturally, while numbers three and four could use some minor in-game adjustments. The final objective is by far the most difficult.
Not only are you restricted to using a full Bundesliga squad, but you must win by two goals. This effectively removes the Golden Goal agreement often exhibited by FIFA players completing objectives.
The most restrictive aspect involves the squad you must field. In order to access this mode, players must conform to the following ruleset:
- Maximum 1 loan player
- Maximum 1 88 or higher overall player
- Team overall rating: Maximum 77
Players will have to craft a team that meets these standards. Staying below 78 overall is a difficult task.
Is Reece Oxford worth the challenge?
The nice thing about this card is that it isn’t exclusively appealing to those who run Bundesliga teams. Thanks to the unique pairing of being an English player in the German top flight, Oxford slots into many teams nicely.
Oxford boasts an 84 overall rating. His base stats are as followed:
- Pace: 81
- Shooting: 47
- Passing: 67
- Dribbling: 70
- Defending: 85
- Physical: 85
Immediately, the pace stat of 81 is a standout. This year, center-backs with a lot of pace are a hot commodity. 81 pace coupled with 85 Defending and 85 physical is a wonderful trifecta for a center-back. His highest in-game stat is 91 Interceptions, making him the ideal choice to react to quick counterattacks. Oxford’s 83 Short Passing stat means that he won’t feel too clunky on the ball.
Thanks to Oxford’s distinctive linking options, the possibilities are endless. Slotting Oxford into Bundesliga teams, Premier League teams, or hybrid teams is a simple task.
The young talent is available to players who complete a specific set of tasks. Unfortunately, the requirements for unlocking this card are not as forgiving as years past.
Suggested squad for Reece Oxford Player Objective
Here is a cost-efficient Bundesliga team that is sure to get the job done. Players can purchase this team for under 12,000 coins
Oxford’s League Player Objective began on November 5th. Although the task is a tough one, players have 60 days to earn a stellar center-back for their squad.
Now that you’re set up to complete these objectives with ease, you may want to look into saving your rewards for Team of the Week 8. The highly anticipated team is set to hit FIFA 22 on Wednesday.

FIFA 23 players can’t play beta after crashing & connection errors: How to fix
While FIFA 23 players were excited to play the beta, crashing and connection errors are ruining the fun. Here’s how to fix the errors on PS5.
Several players are reporting that they cannot access the FIFA 23 beta due to crashing and connection errors. If you’re hoping to get a first look at the new game, here’s how to fix FIFA 23’s beta bugs.
FIFA 23’s close beta went live on August 11 and countless players rushed to their platforms to get a first look at EA Sports’ new iteration of the franchise. Unfortunately, a considerable amount of players were met with FIFA 23 beta bugs that prevented them from accessing the game.
This is far from an ideal situation as the beta is only available until September 1. It seems the luck of players who were fortunate enough to receive a code for the closed beta is beginning to change.
However, there’s no real reason to worry as we’ll provide a fix for the FIFA 23 beta errors to get you back into matches.
It turns out there are a few separate FIFA 23 beta errors that are ruining the fun at the moment. One of the errors leads to the game crashing after players attempt to open the FIFA 23 application. This one is particularly frustrating as players can’t even get to the main menu to access any of the modes on offer.
Meanwhile, other players can access the menu but cannot play any modes, including the Kick-Off mode that should be available to everyone. With the player unable to select a mode, the FIFA 23 beta becomes utterly useless.
How to fix FIFA 23 beta errors on PS5
To fix the connection and crashing errors for FIFA 23’s beta you have to delete friends on your PlayStation account until you have less than 100. The issues were primarily impacting players on PS5.
This should work for PS5 players, while others are reporting that completing training matches eventually unlocks other modes. It seems there are more than a few bugs that players have to deal with. For the time being the method above is your best bet until the devs address these issues.
EA have yet to comment, but with the FIFA 23 beta available until September 1, there’s no doubt that they will work on delivering a fix for players soon.

FIFA 23’s new FUT Moments rewards have Ultimate Team players delighted
In FIFA 23 Ultimate Team, players can earn more rewards than ever thanks to the new FUT Moments mode, leaving many delighted.
The prospect of earning Ultimate Team rewards is one of the mode’s main attractions, and this year players will have more opportunities to do so than ever thanks to FIFA 23’s new FUT Moments feature.
FIFA players are always looking for more ways to grind and sink hours into their favorite football game. For some time, the Ultimate Team mode has allowed players to earn rewards through Squad Battles, Division Rivals, and FUT Champions.
Luckily, FIFA 23 players will have another method to earn rewards for their squad thanks to the new FUT Moments Ultimate Team mode. This single-player offering is one of many new additions to the Ultimate Team mode in FIFA 23.
The mode will task players with completing a number of specific objectives. These objectives will often be short scenarios where players hop into already started matches. The scenarios will be based on legendary moments and memorable real-life football matches.
The good news for players is that completing scenarios will result in stars earned. Stars will be a new currency in Ultimate Team with valuable rewards up for grabs. Each reward will have a certain price set in stars.
For example, a Premium Gold Pack could cost 12 stars to unlock. FUT Moments is being tipped as a standalone live service, with new challenges added after release. Much to the delight of players, FUT Moments will provide extra achievements to grind for alongside Ultimate Team’s usual offerings.
Players on Reddit have already begun discussing the impact FUT Moments will have on FIFA 23’s Ultimate Team experience. The vast majority of comments were positive such as this one: “This is such a W, it adds more grind potential for everyone and also gives people that like to focus on single player only something else to do.”
Players absolutely love to earn packs and improve Ultimate Team squads with new players, and FUT Moments gives them yet another method to do so.
In addition, the same player noted that “FUT Stars you win from this never expire and transfer across seasons, that is really great news too.” The most valuable FUT Moments rewards are likely going to set players back a hefty amount of stars. Therefore, the fact that stars do not expire after every season is seen as a massive win for all FUT fans.
One player explained just how efficient this new mode could be by comparing it to Squad Battles: “It’s also fast sessions of gameplay. No boring 15 min. squad battles games, they’re quick scenarios that can be completed in 2/3 mins.”
While playing Squad Battles offers valuable rewards, the gameplay is hated by many as it’s a slow offline path to rewards. In comparison, FUT Moments has the ability to place players on the fast track to new Ultimate Team rewards.
