FIFA 22 Ultimate Team is shaping up to be the biggest yet, and fans are eagerly awaiting EA dropping the top 100 player ratings for the coming year. Here’s everything we know so far.

Ultimate Team is comfortably the most popular mode in the FIFA series, as fans compete to fill out their clubs with the biggest superstars in world football. Every year, one of the major talking points is each player’s rating and whether they have been overrated or undervalued.

After confirming Icons and Ones to Watches, EA has finally revealed the top stars in FIFA 22 Ultimate Team, so we’ve put together all the big names into one handy guide.

There are plenty of factors that can impact a player’s Ultimate Team rating. Sometimes a move to a big club will cause stats to rocket up, while a sub-par season can see top players hit with a downgrade.

With an eventful real-world season behind us, as well as a packed summer of international football, we’re expecting some big changes to the top 100 this year.

The 100 best players are set to be gradually revealed in the coming days. We’re expecting EA to unveil them in blocks until the lineup is finally confirmed on Friday, September 17.

No official times have been slated for the announcements, but the first 22 were posted at 4 PM BST / 11 AM EDT / 8 AM PDT, and they seem to be sticking to this schedule each day.

We will continue to update this table as more and more ratings are officially revealed.

EA has taken a different approach to the ratings reveal this year. Rather than gradually announcing the top 100 themselves day by day, they’ve allowed individual players and teams to reveal their ratings as and when they choose.

Meanwhile, the publisher’s website has been picking out the absolute best from different leagues in the Ratings Database.

One of the lists they have posted is the top 20 players from the English Premier League. Check them out below.

The second batch to be revealed was the top 20 in LaLiga Santander. Many players have been given big boosts from last year, while some have seen noticeable downgrades.

When picking a league to build a team around, many fans will opt for a Bundesliga squad thanks to the sheer number of big names.

The likes of Robert Lewandowski and Manuel Neuer being some of the best-rated players in the game makes the division a great place to start your Ultimate Team season.

In FUT 22, big upgrades to Dortmund’s hot prospect of Erling Haaland and Bayern’s Kingsley Coman mean that the German league is set to be a popular one once again.

FIFA 22 top-rated Serie A players

Although the likes of Cristiano Ronaldo and Romelu Lukaku have fled Italy in favor of the Premier League, Serie A is still one of the go-to leagues when it comes to crafting a team.

There are plenty of high-rated cards to choose from in the Italian league, and some of the big names will actually make its players cheaper because they will be less sought-after by players building hybrid squads.

This makes Serie A a great division to focus on in the early stages of the game when coins can be hard to come by.

FIFA 22 PSG players

As the status of PSG continues to grow, more of the world’s biggest names are heading to the French league than ever before.

Many of the most desirable players in every position can be found in the French capital, including Lionel Messi and FIFA 22 cover star Kylian Mbappe.

But that’s not to say that players from other teams aren’t going to be popular this year, Monaco’s Ben Yedder will almost certainly be FUT staple for another season.

FIFA 22 Ultimate Team Best goalkeeper

With FIFA 22’s worldwide release just around the corner, many will soon be turning their attention to their next Ultimate Team campaign, so here are our predictions for the best goalkeepers to aim for once FUT finally drops.

FIFA 22 is finally here, and the community is eager to get off to the perfect start in this year’s Ultimate Team. The full list of player ratings is now in the wild, and players can begin plotting out their perfect squad to achieve FUT glory.

Goalkeepers are always a vital part of any squad, and picking the right man between the sticks can be the difference between winning and losing. Here are the best FIFA 22 Ultimate goalkeepers you should look at when you get your hands on FUT 22.

FIFA 22 Ultimate Team Best Goalkeepers

It can be tough to find the perfect goalkeeper to fit a team. You have to consider which stats are most important to you, whether it be reflexes, kicking, or something as simple as height.

This year, EA have given keepers a big update with improvements to the AI and a fresh batch of animations to help them make those crucial saves. So much so, some beta players were reporting they were too overpowered.

Considering this, particularly early in the game, going for one of the highest-rated FIFA 22 Ultimate Team goalkeepers who fit in chemistry-wise could be the way to keep things tight at the back.

These are the top 10 best goalkeepers in FIFA 22 Ultimate Team:

Best cheap goalkeepers in FUT 22

Especially when you’re first starting, one of the world’s best goalkeepers might be slightly out of budget. If this is the case, it pays to look at some cheaper options for FIFA 22 Ultimate Team goalkeepers while grinding out coins.

That’s not to say this will leave your defense vulnerable, as plenty of lower-rated players have become staples of pro teams for one reason or another. Nick Pope was a prime example in FIFA 21, who was keeping the likes of Alisson out until the final weeks.

At 82 rated, West Ham’s Alphonse Areola is a solid cheap option thanks to his impressive all-round stats and French chemistry links. Likewise, Barcelona’s Norberto Neto is a great temporary stopper while you farm for coins.

We’ll update this section with a full list of the best budget options for FIFA 22 Ultimate Team Goalkeepers when the Transfer Market takes shape.

FIFA 22 Team of the Week: TOTW 1 & featured players

TOTW is back again in FIFA 22 Ultimate Team, and we’ve got everything you need to know about how it works – including the latest squad.

EA has revealed that the Team of the Week is returning to FIFA 22 Ultimate Team. This time, however, they’re addressing some long-running fan complaints. Here’s how FIFA 22 TOTW will work.

Ultimate Team remains the most popular mode in the FIFA series. One of the many reasons for this is how it incorporates real-world football into its addictive gameplay loop through special cards, such as Icons or the new FUT Heroes.

One of the mode’s oldest special items is the Team of the Week, which offers players a weekly batch of new upgraded cards to help build out their squads. We’ve got everything you need to know about FUT TOTW right here.

We’ll be updating this hub with the latest FIFA 22 TOTW, so be sure to check back here every week.

The very first FIFA 22 TOTW is here, and it’s full of big names. Liverpool’s Mohammed Salah is one of the standouts after his display in the win against Leeds.

Meanwhile, Bayern’s Joshua Kimmich is the joint-highest rated, following the German champions’ strong to the season.

Ivan Toney is the featured TOTW. His card has been boosted from 76 to an impressive 84.

What are TOTW cards in FIFA 22 Ultimate Team?

Team of the Week items are special cards that boost stats based on that player’s performance in the previous week of real-world games. Any player awarded an in-form will see both their ratings and in-game stats get a permanent increase.

Every week, EA unveils a 23-man squad of the stars who had the best games in the previous domestic or international fixtures round. They could be awarded for a last-minute winner in a big game or a heroic performance from a goalkeeper to keep a clean sheet.

Each TOTW is available in packs for an entire week until it is replaced by the next squad on the following Wednesday. Player’s can not receive an in-form two weeks in a row.

While the in-form card is in packs, it replaces the base version of that player. The normal card will return to packs when that TOTW is over.

FIFA 22 Ultimate Team Featured TOTW

In FIFA 22, EA has addressed fans’ complaints that TOTW items are often quickly rendered useless by the other promotional cards added to the game throughout the year.

Every week, one player will receive a special Featured TOTW card. These players will receive a larger boost than the rest of the squad in an attempt to make them more desirable to those building their teams.

To qualify for this additional stat-boost, the player must have a base card that is under 80-rated and not have any other performance-based card in packs – such as a Ones to Watch.

When is the TOTW released?

Historically, EA announces the latest TOTW every Wednesday so that any Monday night games can be considered.

Historically, the announcement comes at 10 AM PT / 2 PM ET / 6 PM GMT, although TOTW 1 arrived a couple of hours earlier.

We’ll update this post with an exact schedule as and when it is available.

There’s plenty of top-rated strikers to pick from in FIFA 22. The most important thing is finding the goalscorer who fits with your style of play.

Whether you’re looking for someone small and pacey to make those runs in behind, or a target man to whip early crosses into, there’s a big name to suit.

Especially early on when the game’s meta is still revealing itself, a safe bet is turning to those with the highest ratings to give you an edge.

EA has now revealed the official top player ratings for FIFA 22, and these are the strikers who came out on top.

Best cheap strikers in FIFA 22 Ultimate Team

While the players listed above will likely set you back a fair amount of coins in the early stages of the game, there are always some slightly lower-rated poachers that can help teams get off to a great start.

In FIFA 21, the likes of Danny Ings and Moussa Dembele were popular at the beginning. Players with a low overall rating but have a relatively high pace stat tend to be used a lot around this time.

Once we’ve spent some time with Ultimate Team and the Transfer Market starts to take shape, we’ll post our list of the best cheap strikers here.
