How to set FIFA Point limits in FIFA 22

FIFA Points are a quick and easy way to open packs in FIFA 22, but they can only be bought using real-world money. If you’re looking to crack down on your spending in FUT this year, you can with the Playtime feature.

The rush of opening packs is what keeps FIFA 22 Ultimate Team appealing throughout the season. FIFA players are always on the hunt for that next special card to walk out and change their FUT squads.

As well as rewards and SBCs, FIFA Points are a way of opening packs that require real money. We’ve all been there, but you might want to set a limit on many FIFA Points you can buy to make sure you’re only spending what you can afford.

Luckily, the Playtime feature lets you do exactly that. Here’s how to use to set FIFA Point limits in FIFA 22 Ultimate Team.

How to set up FIFA 22 Playtime

Before you can start setting restrictions on how you play FIFA 22, you’ll need to opt-in to Playtime.

Playtime is a feature EA added in FIFA 21 that tracks the time and money you spend in-game, from the number of matches you played to the FUT packs you opened in the last week.

Here’s a step-by-step guide on how to enable Playtime in FIFA 22.

  1. Load in to the FIFA 22 main menu
  2. Head over to the Customize tile
  3. Select Playtime
  4. Follow the on-screen prompts to enable the Share Playtime Usage Data option
  5. Playtime will now keep track of how much you play across all FIFA 22 modes

It’s worth noting that Playtime also takes any time spent or packs opened on the FUT Web App into account when working out your stats.

Once Playtime is up and running, you can start setting restrictions on the number of FIFA Points you want to buy per week.

Here’s how to adjust your weekly FIFA Point limit in FIFA 22:

  1. Drop into the FIFA 22 Ultimate Team main menu
  2. Scroll over to the Club tab and hit Settings
  3. Click on FIFA Points Purchase Limit then Edit Limit
  4. Enter the amount you want your weekly limit to be
  5. Now, you will be met with a message if you try to buy more than this number of points in a week

You can change your FIFA Point limit at any time, but this is a great way to keep on top of your FUT spending and ensure you’re only buying FIFA Points you can afford.

If you’re also someone who finds themselves putting too much time into FIFA each week, you can also limit the number of matches you can play. Simply follow the same method, but select the Match Limits tile.

That was everything you need to know about using Playtime in FIFA 22 to make sure you’re enjoying the game in the right way.

TOTGS FIFA 22 Ultimate Team

The group stage of Europe’s three major club competitions is coming to a close. Ultimate Team fans can expect to get their hands on the Team of the Group Stage promo. Here’s when you can expect to test these new items as well as every player in TOTGS.

This year, football fans have had the pleasure of watching three European club competitions as opposed to two. The newly created Conference League joined the likes of the UEFA Champions League, and Europa League. Each year, EA Sports celebrates the most dominant players amongst these European competitions through the Team of the Group Stage promotion

The top performers across these three competitions are set to be honored in FIFA 22. With massive clubs involved, players can expect to get their hands on some excellent cards. Here’s when FIFA 22 Ultimate Team players can expect Team of the Group Stage as well as the players up for grabs.

Team of the Group Stage Ultimate Team release date

FIFA 22 TOTGS release date

After receiving some incredibly useful cards through the Signature Signings promo, Ultimate Team players are eager to see what’s next. The last matchday of European club competitions is set to take place next week between December 6-8.

It turns out EA has decided to release the promo before the last matches are complete. They are wasting no time in getting new content to players across Ultimate Team.

December 3 is the date to mark on your calendar. On Friday, December 3 at 10 AM PT / 1 PM ET / 6 PM GMT / 8 PM CEST, keep an eye out for the new promo.

For players with poor pack luck, rest assured you’ll have a chance to snap up one or two of these players through SBCs and objectives

FIFA 22 Team of the Group Stage card design

As with past TOTGS promos we’ve seen, the card design isn’t going to display significant differences from the RTTK promo. So far, we’ve seen the TOTGS through leaks. The one major difference is the direction of the line designs in the background.

The RTTK cards all looked fantastic therefore EA probably won’t be changing much. The lime green of the Conference League certainly pops on screen.

The fact that there are three competitions to choose from this year and the same number of spots available means that some top performers have missed out. Competition is fierce this year and only the best of the best are showcased below.

Here are all of the players involved in Team of the Group Stage:

  • Sébastien Haller (Ajax) *SBC*
  • Victor Osimhen (Napoli) *Objective*
  • Robert Lewandowski (Bayern Munich)
  • Cristiano Ronaldo (Manchester United)
  • Mohamed Salah (Liverpool)
  • Leroy Sané (Bayern Munich)
  • Gianluigi Donnarumma (PSG)
  • João Cancelo (Manchester City)
  • Marquinhos (PSG)
  • Christopher Nkunku (RB Leipzig)
  • Federico Chiesa (Piemonte Calcio / Juventus)
  • Andreas Christensen (Chelsea)
  • Vinícius Júnior (Real Madrid
  • Tiago Djaló (LOSC Lille)
  • Saïd Benrahma (West Ham)
  • Erik Botheim (FK Bodø/Glimt)

That just about covers everything we know about TOTGS in Ultimate Team. Make sure to get a look at the team on December 3 and see how it compares to RTTK. Don’t forget, Ultimate Team players who log into the game between December 15 and January 14 will receive a free Next Generation card.

It’s time for another FIFA 22 Team of the Week. In FIFA 22 TOTW 10, there are some huge names for people to add to their teams and we’ve got all the details listed for you.

Ultimate Team remains the most popular mode in the FIFA series. One of the many reasons for this is incorporating real-world football into its addictive gameplay loop through special cards, such as Icons or the new FUT Heroes.

One of the mode’s oldest promotions is ‘Team of the Week’, which offers players a weekly batch of upgraded cards, based on player performances the previous week, to help build out their squads.

We’ll be updating this hub with the latest FIFA 22 TOTW news, so be sure to check back here every week. Here are the full updates for FIFA 22’s Team of the Week 10.

The FIFA 22 TOTW 10 is here, and it’s full of big names from across the world. For those who like to try out new cards and have the funds to do so, FIFA’s TOTW is great.

Check out the full squad for the FIFA 22 TOTW 10 here.

What are TOTW cards in FIFA 22 Ultimate Team?

Team of the Week items are special cards that boost stats based on that player’s performance in the previous week of real-world games. Any player awarded an in-form will see both their ratings and in-game stats get a permanent increase.

Every week, EA unveils a 23-man squad of the stars who had the best games in the previous domestic or international fixtures round. They could be awarded for a last-minute winner in a big game or a heroic performance from a goalkeeper to keep a clean sheet.

Each TOTW is available in packs for an entire week until it is replaced by the next squad on the following Wednesday. Player’s can not receive an in-form two weeks in a row.

While an in-form card is in packs, it replaces the base version of that player. The normal card will return to packs when that TOTW is over.

FIFA 22 Ultimate Team Featured TOTW

In FIFA 22, EA has addressed fans’ complaints that TOTW items are often quickly rendered useless by the other promotional cards added to the game throughout the year.

Every week, one player will receive a special Featured TOTW card. These players will receive a larger boost than the rest of the squad in an attempt to make them more desirable to those building their teams.

To qualify for this additional stat-boost, the player must have a base card that is under 80-rated and not have any other performance-based card in packs – such as a Ones to Watch.

When is the TOTW released?

Historically, EA announces the latest TOTW every Wednesday so that any Monday night games can be considered.

No specific time has been set for when the team will be announced. However, so far, they have tended to surface at around 9 AM PT / 12 PM ET / 4 PM BST. We’ll update this post with an exact schedule as and when it is available.

FIFA 22 streamer Castro banned for Ultimate Team “coin distribution” live on Twitch

Popular FIFA YouTuber and streamer Castro was recently permabanned from the FIFA 22 Ultimate Team transfer market.

Published

FIFA 22 transfer market

Castro is one of the FIFA community’s biggest and most popular streamers, and he was banned live on Twitch from using FIFA 22 Ultimate Team’s transfer market.

Ultimate Team is pretty much the lifeblood of EA’s FIFA franchise as it rakes in billions each year. It’s helped by the fact the game’s most popular content creators advertise the game so well and pump lots of money into FIFA Points – the game’s microtransaction currency.

Edwin Castro AKA Castro_1021 has been one of the game’s main streamers and content creators for years now. So it was a huge shock to many when he was unceremoniously booted from FIFA 22 Ultimate Team’s transfer market – permanently.

castro being banned from FIFA 22 ultimate team

During a typical live stream on Twitch, Castro was having an issue with EA’s servers as he was searching for players in Ultimate Team.

Suddenly, a prompt appeared on his screen saying “Account At Risk” and EA had apparently noticed that his account was “recently involved in FUT Coin distribution” and subsequently banned him from the game mode’s transfer market.

Ultimate Team’s transfer market is a crucial aspect of the game, and, especially for a high-profile streamer like Castro, will have a damaging effect on his content creation.

“The day before Team of the Group Stage, and I just dropped like 300K FIFA Points on Black Friday, and you think I’m coin distributing?!” Castro angrily shouted for his viewers.

This imposed ban will prevent the player from buying or selling any players on the FIFA Ultimate Team market. Meaning he can’t sell any exciting, valuable pack pulls or buy the game’s latest and greatest cards.

Castro doesn’t believe he’s done anything wrong, and it’s likely he will appeal against the decision. The streamer is one of the most well-liked in FIFA, and it’s likely that his ban will be overturned.
