TOTGS FIFA 22 Ultimate Team

The group stage of Europe’s three major club competitions is coming to a close. Ultimate Team fans can expect to get their hands on the Team of the Group Stage promo. Here’s when you can expect to test these new items as well as every player in TOTGS.

This year, football fans have had the pleasure of watching three European club competitions as opposed to two. The newly created Conference League joined the likes of the UEFA Champions League, and Europa League. Each year, EA Sports celebrates the most dominant players amongst these European competitions through the Team of the Group Stage promotion

The top performers across these three competitions are set to be honored in FIFA 22. With massive clubs involved, players can expect to get their hands on some excellent cards. Here’s when FIFA 22 Ultimate Team players can expect Team of the Group Stage as well as the players up for grabs.

Team of the Group Stage Ultimate Team release date

After receiving some incredibly useful cards through the Signature Signings promo, Ultimate Team players are eager to see what’s next. The last matchday of European club competitions is set to take place next week between December 6-8.

It turns out EA has decided to release the promo before the last matches are complete. They are wasting no time in getting new content to players across Ultimate Team.

December 3 is the date to mark on your calendar. On Friday, December 3 at 10 AM PT / 1 PM ET / 6 PM GMT / 8 PM CEST, keep an eye out for the new promo.

For players with poor pack luck, rest assured you’ll have a chance to snap up one or two of these players through SBCs and objectives

FIFA 22 Team of the Group Stage card design

As with past TOTGS promos we’ve seen, the card design isn’t going to display significant differences from the RTTK promo. So far, we’ve seen the TOTGS through leaks. The one major difference is the direction of the line designs in the background.

The RTTK cards all looked fantastic therefore EA probably won’t be changing much. The lime green of the Conference League certainly pops on screen.

Team of the Group Stage player items

The fact that there are three competitions to choose from this year and the same number of spots available means that some top performers have missed out. Competition is fierce this year and only the best of the best are showcased below.

Here are all of the players involved in Team of the Group Stage:

  • Sébastien Haller (Ajax) *SBC*
  • Victor Osimhen (Napoli) *Objective*
  • Robert Lewandowski (Bayern Munich)
  • Cristiano Ronaldo (Manchester United)
  • Mohamed Salah (Liverpool)
  • Leroy Sané (Bayern Munich)
  • Gianluigi Donnarumma (PSG)
  • João Cancelo (Manchester City)
  • Marquinhos (PSG)
  • Christopher Nkunku (RB Leipzig)
  • Federico Chiesa (Piemonte Calcio / Juventus)
  • Andreas Christensen (Chelsea)
  • Vinícius Júnior (Real Madrid
  • Tiago Djaló (LOSC Lille)
  • Saïd Benrahma (West Ham)
  • Erik Botheim (FK Bodø/Glimt)

That just about covers everything we know about TOTGS in Ultimate Team. Make sure to get a look at the team on December 3 and see how it compares to RTTK. Don’t forget, Ultimate Team players who log into the game between December 15 and January 14 will receive a free Next Generation card.

Ultimate Team fans will once again have the opportunity to utilize FUT Hero cards in FIFA 23 after they made their debut in FIFA 22. Here’s a list of all the FUT Hero cards confirmed to arrive in FIFA 23.

FIFA 23 will be the final game of the franchise to include the FIFA branding before EA shifts to EA Sports FC. Fans have high expectations for the game that will bring an end to the partnership’s dominant era.

While FIFA 23 is set to introduce new features like World Cup content and crossplay support, Ultimate Team fans will be happy to know that some returning features will also appear in FIFA 23.

One of these returning features is none other than FUT Hero cards. Here’s everything you need to know about FUT Hero cards in FIFA 23.

What are FUT Hero cards in FIFA 23

FUT Hero cards were a new introduction in FIFA 22 and the concept is meant to highlight incredible players of the past who never quite reached icon status.

EA picked a set of players that shared a common characteristic of leadership and respect for the clubs they played for.

These Hero items are special cards in FUT as they utilize unique chemistry attributes. They offer league-specific chemistry and provide a green club link to any player within the same league.

FIFA 23 confirmed FUT Hero cards

While EA have yet to announce every new FIFA 23 FUT Hero, they have revealed the first few stars from the Premier League and LaLiga that will show up.

Here’s a full list of expected FIFA 23 FUT Hero players, with new cards marked in bold.

FIFA 23 players fear Ultimate Team SBCs will be a nightmare to complete

Due to the drastic chemistry changes introduced to FIFA 23, Ultimate Team players are dreading the completion of SBCs.

Published

on

With major chemistry changes set to impact FIFA 23’s Ultimate Team mode, players are already convinced that completing SBCs will be a nightmare.

With the standard version of FIFA 23 set to arrive on September 30, players are excited to discover what the game’s new features have to offer. EA have been breaking down FIFA 23’s new features across each game mode ahead of the highly anticipated release.

While Ultimate Team fans are excited for FUT Moments, other changes like the ones made to team chemistry have not gone down well with the fanbase. It seems players are worried about the implications this new Ultimate Team chemistry system could have on SBCs.

SBCs have been a staple of the Ultimate Team mode for some time now. These FUT puzzles grant players valuable items and packs to improve squads. In order to earn rewards, players must submit a squad that meets certain criteria. Most SBCs will have a chemistry requirement which makes finding the correct solution a challenge.

With team chemistry set to be a thing of the past in FIFA 23, players are worried that SBCs will be an aggravating experience to complete. As one FIFA fan puts it, “More controllers will be broken trying to complete SBCs than from actual gameplay.”

Previously, players could be asked to submit a squad with a minimum chemistry rating of 80. However, this is no longer possible with FIFA 23’s shift to player chemistry.

A statement from EA confirms that players will be asked to meet new SBC chemistry requirements of either the “Total Chemistry of all Players combined, up to a maximum of 33,” or “Chemistry Points per Player between 0 and 3.”

Players have yet to come to grips with the new system of calculating chemistry, which makes the idea of FIFA 23 SBCs with the new system a daunting task on the horizon.

An example of a FIFA 23 SBC requirement would be for all players in the squad to have a minimum of two chemistry points. Given that players are used to using straightforward chemistry lines, this new system could cause a ton of frustration, especially during FIFA 23’s early days.

A post to the FIFA subreddit highlights most players’ perplexed reaction to a system that according to them, did not need changing: “The system doesn’t make sense and it’s vastly inferior to the previous system.”

FIFA 23 players will have to adjust to a learning curve when it comes to Ultimate Team SBCs, despite the fact that they believe the previous system did not require any changes. One can only hope that no controllers will be damaged in the process.
