When does FIFA 22 title update #3 release for PC, Stadia, PS4, PS5, Xbox One & Xbox Series X|S?
EA revealed the patch notes for title update #3 via their blog on November 2, with the changes taking effect on PC from Wednesday, November 3, 2021.
With update #2, PC players got the changes on October 19, 2021, and then consoles followed on October 26.
With this in mind, we’re expecting update #3 to drop for PS4/5 and Series S/X players on Wednesday, November 11, 2021.
FIFA updates always drop on PC first, then come to consoles shortly after, so PlayStation and Xbox players won’t have to wait too long to benefit from the changes.
What’s included in FIFA 22 title update #3?
The main headline from the third major FIFA 22 update is that the lag that would often kick in once the second half started is now gone.
This has been an issue since the game launched in October, with players reporting that online matches on Ultimate Team would lag for the first few in-game minutes before suddenly stopping.
A recurring issue that saw defenses track a runner deep into their own half instead of playing them offside has also been resolved.
Finally, problems with referees not awarding penalties for fouls by goalkeepers and canceling their advantage calls too early have been fixed.

Gameplay
Addressed the following issues.
- In a rare situation, the ball could be moved during a free kick without play resuming for both sides.
- In some situations, the referee did not call for a foul after the goalkeeper made illegal contact with the ball carrier.
- Addressed some stability issues that could occur during the 2nd half.
- Sometimes, goalkeepers were jumping too far forward when attempting to make a diving save.
- These jumping animations did not affect a goalkeeper’s ability to make saves.
- In some instances, the referee incorrectly cancelled their advantage call, resulting in an unintended set piece.
- When playing as a locked player, the opposition’s defensive line could have continued following the locked player deep into their own half, even when it was not beneficial to do so.
- Own goals could have sometimes registered as a Shot On Target for the scoring side.
Career Mode
Made the following change:
- Added a Change Team Sheet shortcut on the Training Hub, enabling the manager to quickly cycle between Team Sheets for Training Drills.

Addressed the following issues:
- Career Mode progression could have been lost between play sessions depending on how the mode was exited.
- When exiting Career Mode, the save pop up has been updated to have Save and Quit as the first option as it allows players to manually choose their save slot.
- In Player Career, the Avoid Conceding objective UI did not display correctly.
- In Player Career, the player controlled Pro could become a member of the starting XI unintentionally quickly.

- The Signature Ability button callout did not always display during matches when the Signature Ability was ready to be activated.
- When selecting an AI controlled teammate in the Change Outfit menu found in the Store and browsing the available items, the player’s Avatar could be displayed instead.
- The ball could have sometimes traveled through the Musical Nets VOLTA ARCADE party game.

There are some incredible storylines that should make for some great Serie A Ultimate Team squads in FIFA 22. Superstars Paul Pogba and Romelu Lukaku are returning to their former clubs after time in the Premier League.
Given how both of these players failed to meet expectations, their ratings are expected to drop in FIFA 23. While new faces will make their way to Serie A, some top players will be departing including Chiellini, Insigne, Kessie, and possibly more.

Fortunately, top performers from the previous season are ready to step in to fill the void in Ultimate Team. Mike Maignan won the goalkeeper of the year award last season so there’s no denying that he’s deserving of a rating increase.
Milan Skriniar was a brick wall for Inter Milan last season and will surely receive a rating increase whether he stays with Inter Milan or moves on to PSG as rumors suggest. Koulibaly is another that could depart Serie A, but if he stays at Napoli he’ll continue to be one of the best defenders in the league.

After winning Premier League Player of the Season, Kevin De Bruyne will likely keep his lofty 91 rating, sharing the top spot with Cristiano Ronaldo, who also enjoyed a great individual season in a struggling United team.
We’ve listed Erling Haaland as one of the highest climbers, who should receive a large bump after his high-profile move to City. Trent Alexander-Arnold is also expected to be rewarded after his best season to date, managing 12 assists from right back.
Heung Min-Son also registered his most prolific year in the Premier League so far, finishing as the joint-top goalscorer. This should be enough to see him move up a rating and join the coveted 90 club.
