FIFA 23 World Cup Stories is now active as part of the Qatar 2022 celebrations in Ultimate Team. Here’s everything we know about FIFA 23 World Cup Stories, including the players revealed.

The 2022 World Cup has brought a whole host of content to FIFA 23 Ultimate Team, including a number of themed promos. Road to the World Cup celebrated those who started in the qualifying rounds, while Path to Glory brought live cards that change rating based on how the competition plays out.

EA are far from done, however, as another new promo event called World Cup Stories has made its way to FIFA 23.

Here’s everything we know so far about FIFA 23 World Cup Stories, including all of the players that involved.

FIFA 23 World Cup Stories start date

Based on information from the official FIFA 23 website, the World Cup Stories promo got underway on Friday, December 2, 2022.

Previously, a well-known leaker revealed the name of the promo, matching it to a card design that EA showed off as part of their World Cup plans. Players can expect a mini-release to hit FUT over the weekend.

The World Cup Stories players received incredible boosts and there are some major names involved such as Virgil van Dijk and Bruno Fernandes. There’s no doubt that players looking to cash in on some World Cup Swaps Tokens will aim for some of these World Cup Stories players.

What are FIFA 23 World Cup Stories cards?

EA’s official description for the World Cup Stories promo is as followed: “As the Knockout Stages approach, it’s time to celebrate the players who have written past and present FIFA World Cup headlines for their countries”

The event seems to focus on the players that unique stories heading into Qatar 2022, such as Virgil van Dijk making his World Cup debut after the Netherlands failed to qualify in 2018.
