FIFA 23 Fantasy FUT upgrades explained
The FIFA 23 Fantasy FUT promo follows a slightly different upgrade format from the FIFA 22 promo of the same name, so let’s take a look at what to expect.
For starters, it’s important to note that upgrades will be based on the real-life performances of the players’ clubs within the first six league games starting March 17.
Here are the Fantasy FUT upgrades requirements in FIFA 23:
- 3 appearances in the next 6 games: +1
- 1 win in the next 6 games: +1
- Attackers + Midfielders: 2 goals or 2 assists in the next 6 games: +1
- Defenders + Goalkeepers: 2 clean sheets in the next 6 games: +1
- Avoid defeat in the next 6 games: +1 & 3 new traits
In total there are four upgrades up for grabs for standard Fantasy FUT player items. The third upgrade requirement has different criteria whether the player is a forward or a defender.
Of course, the Fantasy FUT promo also includes FUT Heroes. Their upgrade requirements work differently than the standard Fantasy FUT items since they’re no longer active players.
Here are the Fantasy FUT upgrades requirements for FUT Heroes in FIFA 23:
- 1 win in the next 6 games: +1
- Club avoids defeat in the next 6 games: +1 & 3 new traits
“You can find the associated club for each Fantasy FUT Hero in the Additional Information Tab in-game”
