As FIFA 22 draws to a close, fans are already eagerly anticipating what the next iteration of the franchise will have to offer. FIFA 23 will be the final title created in tandem by EA Sports and FIFA, before the transition to EA Sports FC.
As the final joint project between the companies, FIFA 23 is expected to go out with a bang. With the gameplay reveal introducing new mechanics and changes to fan-favorite game modes, now’s the perfect time to find out how to pre-order FIFA 23.
How to pre-order FIFA 23
Physical copies of FIFA 23 will be available for purchase at retail stores worldwide, with digital copies expected to be available via your platform’s game marketplace.
The most popular retailers for those looking to pre-order a physical version of FIFA 23 include Walmart, Best Buy, GameStop, and Amazon.
PlayStation users can pre-order digital copies of FIFA 23 through the PlayStation store, while Xbox players can use the Microsoft store to purchase the game. Meanwhile, PC players should be able to find a FIFA 23 pre-order on Steam and Origin.
FIFA 23 pre-order editions & prices
FIFA 23 follows the same pre-order model as FIFA 22, so players could expect a Standard Edition and an Ultimate Edition. Here’s a breakdown of the prices players can expect to pay:

FIFA 23’s official release date is September 30, 2022. However, there is a way for players to access the game three days earlier regardless of their platform of choice.
Players who pre-order the Ultimate Edition will be able to play FIFA 23 as of September 27, thanks to the three-day early access period.
FIFA 23 pre-order bonus rewards
The Standard Edition of FIFA 23 is the base version and while it doesn’t come with many perks, it is the cheapest version of the game available. On the flip side, the Ultimate Edition comes with a ton of bonus content for players to enjoy, especially for fans of Ultimate Team.

The Ones to Watch Player item will be available to players from September 30, while the World Cup FUT Hero player will be available as of November 11. It’ll be up to you to decide which version is right for you, but if you’re a fan of FUT, the Ultimate Edition will be difficult to ignore.
