Follow these steps to get the City of the Ancients quest in FFXIV:

• Make sure you’re level 79 and have completed the Waiting in the Depths Main Scenario Quest.
• Head to Y’shtola at coordinates 33.1, 16.9 (X,Y). Help the character with the investigation and talk to her.
• Go to 29.7, 13.2 and inspect the Distinctive Window.
• Go to 28, 11.8, where you won’t be able to use the mythrill knives to collect scrapings from the remnant wall.
• Report back to Y’shtola who will now hand you the Qitana Ravel Mural and initiate the City of the Ancients quest.

Where is the Qitana Ravel structure in City of the Ancients FFXIV quest?

You can find the Qitana Ravel structure to complete the City of the Ancients FFXIV quest on coordinates 22.0, 11.0. This is the peak of a hill in the Norvrandt Slope region and upon reaching it, you have to interact with the Survey Point.

You’ll have to wait a few seconds for the surveying to the end and a cutscene should trigger, signifying that the City of the Ancients quest has been completed.
