Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth isn’t all about taking down formidable foes, there are times where minigames play a part of the experience. Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth is full of surprises, as the devs added tons of minigames and side activities across all the World Map regions. One of the main attractions players have stumbled upon is a Piano, and you can play your own tunes on it.

If you know your instruments, you will be able to create music, as the game lets you play as if you had a real piano in front of you. If not, the game has something that long-time fans of the series’ music will love.

FF7 Rebirth Piano: How to use

To play the Piano in Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth, players will simply need to find it and press the triangle button to sit down. You can select a specific piece for a Guitar Hero-like mini-game where you need to play the same notes as the song goes, or simply create your own tunes in free play.

The Piano in Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth works using both sticks as each of Cloud’s hands. You can use the D-pad to change Chord Types and the Square and Circle buttons to change Octaves. If you know your music, you can also switch between Monotones, Semitones, and Minors.

All Piano locations in FF7 Rebirth

Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth features several Piano locations in the different regions of the World Map, and these are the ones we’ve found:

• In Tifa’s Room during the Nibelheim Flashback.
• Inside the abandoned church of Fort Condor in Junon.
• Right to the Lobby of the Costa del Sol Resort in Corel.
• At the back of the Bar in North Corel.
• Inside a residential house in the center of Gongaga village.
• Inside the Cosmo Canyon Syldra Inn.
• Found in the upper floor of Cloud’s old house in Nibelheim.

We believe this to be the full list of Pianos in FF7 Rebirth but if more get added, we’ll update this section.

FF7 Rebirth Piano rewards

Rewards for playing the Piano in Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth are the original music sheets for some FF7 songs. You can use these for playing the songs using both sticks and following the pattern shown.
